Car Troubles
« on: December 26, 2012, 11:22:59 PM »
My mom's van has been having some trouble for me lately, and tomorrow I'll be driving 2.5 hours from Milwaukee, WI to Chicago, IL (and back again in the evening) so I could really use some prayer that the car (and me, lol) make it safely there and back.

So the trip is cancelled after my mom called her mechanic and told him the details. He doesn't want the car to go on such a long trip until he can take a look at it.

Music Maker - It's been having trouble shifting the last couple days. Sometimes when you shift it to drive it'll still act like it's in park. It doesn't rev or anything, it literally just sits there as though in park.

Yeah, we're gonna be taking it to my mom's mechanic shop tonight or tomorrow for him to take a look at it, it's just frustrating that I won't be able to get to Chicago now to help my sister unpack all her stuff at her new apartment.

Unfortunately, I don't currently have a church to call home. The ones near my University I tried and they just didn't feel like home to me. My family has had some problems with churches in the past, so I find myself having trouble trusting other churches again.

Most of my friends just have their one car. My other sister has 2 cars, but they live 45 mins away so it'd be awkward for them to get here (plus her husband is probably at work in which case she'd be stuck here until he gets off and could drive up here).
