David was 18 and had just graduated high school this past year. He was developmentally disabled, and has faced numerous challenges in his all-too-short lifetime. He was unable to communicate, but he never had to; his smile showed us the courage with which he endured endless trials. He was a fighter, a brave soldier in the army of the Lord. He touched hundreds of people's lives, including my own in a very significant way, being my Godbrother. I'm not sure anyone can give hugs quite like David could. He will be very, very missed.

Soundman's family, as well as mine, covet your prayers during this difficult time. We know that David is in a much better place, with a much better body, but we mourn for the hole that he's left in all our hearts.

Yeah David was awesome and you could tell that he was always happy. and no means to brag but i was one of his favorite people to hang with. he'd always give me hugs, in fact, i don't ever remember seeing him without giving me a hug. His family and my family had some pretty good times at Wendy's when we'd go a lot after church and i remember his favorite Chicken Nuggets. He was fun to see every week at church when everyone there was joyful with David around and now that will be different which makes me sad in too many ways. his family is goin through a rough time now and forever will be missing him and so will me and my family. David was a great teenager who did and would have shown the Light of God.thank you for the prayers!

Our prayers are out to Soundman and family, as well as the Alstads. From the sound of things, this special young man touched many lives. May God bring you the comfort that only He can bring.
