My injured knee
« on: June 10, 2011, 03:50:23 PM »
If you guys could pray for my knee.  I injured it in a sparring match last night and it is pretty sore.  It looks like I just really torqued my tendons so no surgery but it makes climbing stairs difficult.  I live and work on multiple stories with no handicap access, so pray I can make it through my recovery process.

Praying.

Sparring?  Cool!  Way better than injuring it getting up from a desk chair or out of a car.

Yeah, I need to make sure I pack my knee brace for continuous (2 min round) matches.  I really should have not have fought that night, my knees were already sore.  You live you learn.

It has been a little over 4 weeks since the initial injury and my knee is still not 100%.  I would appreciate any additional prayer.  It is hard for me to do anything that would cause the knee to move under stress ans it immediately buckles.  It doesn't hurt much, except when it gives way from to much stress.  I am not the kinda guy who is used to being sidelined.  I would covet any one's prayer, I just want to be myself again.
