Josias Rodriguez, Jerome's current roommate an my former roomate, was on a leadership retreat for the school. He fell off a forty foot cliff while the girl he had been courting for the last year watched.  I can say this honestly he is the only man I knew at OCU who beyond a shadow of a doubt exemplified the behavior Christ at every moment. I know the tendency to over react after an unexpected death but, Josias was a Man of God.  Please pray for my campus, Ohio Christian University, my peers, his family and Nancy his female friend who saw it happen.

His parents are in pure denial and will not believe it and nancy is in shock and at the hospital still. We are currently holding a prayer service but we need your support more then ever.

We are all torn up. Please pray for my brother Jerome as Josias was his roommate this semester. Please pray we need your affection in throne room of Jesus.

Thank you all,
Josiah Beers

Whole campus is torn up no one can sleep and everyone is bawling. We only have 600 people on campus so everyone knows everyone.

I've been praying for your school, you guys, and all involved. My church is also praying! Don't be afraid to talk to someone about it. Suppressing and internalizing feelings/emotions aren't helpful in the long run. Look to God and know that He had a reason, even if it is not immediately seen.
With it being the end of the semester, I will definitely keep praying for y'all with finals and projects, on top of this tragedy.
Love. How did one show it?..By dying. ..the shape of a Cross etched on the history of the world.~CtB

I'm praying for all of you as you deal with such a painful loss.
