My best friend now beleives in evolution........

My best friend told me the other day that he now belives in evolution. I'm going to get my other friend and try to witness to him. The problem is every time we try to talk to him about it, he walks away.
Please pray for him and me as I try to help him.

That must be tough. I can give you some supportive arguements. (BEFORE YOU DO THE ARGUEMENTS, PRAY! AND CHECK THE BIBLE). Ask your friend "If evolution is true, why is nothing in the stages of evolving now?", or "Don't Big Bangs destroy instead of create? I mean, bombs don't go off and there's new life forms where they exploded, right?"

I find it really hard to believe that anyone who believes that we were sprouted from a collision of objects that produced a magnificent bang effect, and then continued on to spew out the recipe for life on earth, is a Christian.

This is all I will say about this:

In the beginning, God created the universe. The bible never specifies HOW. I am a firm believer that the big "bang" WAS everything being formed from nothing, except there was no "singularity" before the creation of everything. Everything else happened as the Bible says, including the creation of life.

That is all.

Yes, I do think it is quite possible that God created the world in a "big bang" sort of way, but how God created the universe is rather irrelevant. I believe the Bible illustrates creation 100% accurately.

Be very careful not to drive your point so much that you win the argument without winning the actual man. Too many Christians now a days try to win the argument and fail to realize how damaging they can be when they forget it's not so much about winning the argument, but it's the seed that is planted that counts. We can't decide truth for them, we can only nicely tell them about it or they may never be open to the truth again.
