Our area has experienced several major storm since the beginning of the holiday season last year (which is why we did not get to see YMT and the others in Florida for their long-awaited tournament). While I sit cozy and warm in my place tonight with my lights on (praise God for the friend and his truck who helped us get firewood to our house yesterday), I am mindful of the people who are working in this storm, putting their lives on the line. They have to be tired and tired of weather like this.
As many trials as our family has personally had lately, I cannot imagine being a power line worker, a policeman, or an EMT tonight here. If anyone has a few moments to spare, I know that prayers would be of benefit.
