Prayer Request: For A Priest Friend's Dad

Hello all.  I rarely make prayer requests.  This one is for a dear friend of mine who is a pious priest.

I quote his request, verbatim:

Hi, everyone,

Just to request for prayers for my dad. Yesterday, he and my mom flew to Manila for a check up and after landing, on the way to the house, he had a myocardial infarction (i.e., heart attack). Just on time--yes, providential--thank God. So he was brought straight to the hospital (Cardinal Santos) and he was admitted right away.

The doctors decided against angioplasty because it would be too risky. He is now in the intensive care unit. If the situation remains stable, they will undertake surgery on Wednesday, 27th.

Thank you for your prayers.  The patient had a successful angioplasty and is stable and resting at the hospital.
