Last week in preparation for our small group meeting, we each had to complete a personality and spiritual gifts assessment so that we could better understand how God has wired us. As I looked at the results, I saw that I fit in the <1% of the population that is uniquely gifted in financial planning. Of course, God already knew this, which is why he put me in this position 2-1/2 years ago!
However, I am not at all gifted in finding new clients, and I have been struggling with this the whole time. I realized through our discussion with our small group that I really need to focus on what I'm gifted at and find someone else who is gifted in my area of weakness. So as of yesterday I am looking for someone who is gifted as a people-person and strikes up conversation with people they don't know easily. I am working on remembering that "my" business is really God's business, and He will help me find the right person to assist me in running His business.
If you know anyone in southeastern WI or interested in moving here that might be a good fit, please let me know! Otherwise, your prayers that I would be listening to God's prompting on who would best complement me would be appreciated.
