If some of you remember, my Grandma went into the hospital in September because her lung cancer came back and violently attacked her brain. We waited 4 and a half long months... and God has taken her home. At 10 oclock tonight, she breathed her last and the Lord stopped her suffering forever.
My grandma was a great person. She's been a huge part of my life from the time I was born. We lived with or near her until it was 8. Then she was still totally there my whole life. She was at my high school and college graduations, and was always a huge advocate of me continuing my education. It breaks my heart that she won't be at my Master's ceremony and my PhD ceremony, but I know she's not suffering anymore.
Please pray for my family at this time. First, for comfort, and second, that they may come to know the Lord through this, my immediate family doesn't know Christ.... that Jesus would use this for His Glory, as He does all things... my grandma knew the Lord, and is in His

Weekend update:
Alright, so my plan has totally changed, not what I thought it was going to be...
The viewing is now tomorrow at 6 PM. So, I will be going to church in the morning, dropping people off, and driving up to my mom's house.
Then, on Monday morning, I will be at my grandma's funeral... I believe my mom said that it was at 10 or 11, but I don't remember. I will then be staying home (probably going to see Sadie for a little bit) and spending time with my mom and brother.
Finally, Tuesday morning, I will be going with my mom to pick out the gravestone, then going to get my renewed license, then coming back to Ship that day. I may be back for class that night, but probably not.
Please pray for my family at this time, and pray that Christ shines His Light through this.
In His Love and For His Glory,
Marti
