Title: Been awhile
Post by: Shofarblower on November 15, 2010, 07:23:08 PM: It has bee a while since I have posted. I am kind of behind in the boards and the new cards. I do plan to keep in the game but we have turned off our ISP until further notice.

Now for the Prayer request. Some of you knew that we were having to move. The date is still unknown but quickly approaching. I don't know where we will move to or when we will have to move. The uncertainty is very stressful, and we just can't seem to find the right place. I really need you guys to lift this up.

We currently live 45 minutes from my job and our congregation. I am spending 1/4 my pay on gas and it is a real strain. We are looking for housing close to both work and the church building.

I will be online most monday nights to update and check in.

Just remember that wherever you end up, even if it was not your first choice, is still exactly where God needs you to be. That's going to be a great place to be. ;D

A huge +1 to this. I ended up in MD(which wasn't my first choice, I wanted to stay in NY) but I went anyway. And I have been richly blessed since moving here. Where he wants you is really the best place to be.

Post by: Shofarblower on January 23, 2011, 03:21:00 PM: ok, so the Monday night thing was a bust. We have moved (or are in the middle of it) and you all are right. The house is nice and I feel that it is where we need to be right now. I have even found a Christian owned comic shop within 10 minutes that wants me to teach them Redemption and we may see NC back on the tournament list next year if I can work it out with them.
