I posted an earlier version of this deck and got a ton of solid advice, much of which was incorporated into this final version. Once Isaiah gets up and running with a d6 every time he attacks, it's very difficult for anything else to keep up. Combine this with how sticky he is, a ton of CBN negates, Jonah and Hidden Treasures to keep your opponent's territory suppressed, and instantly playing CBN battlewinners the moment you have initiative, it's really hard for your opponent to slow you down once you get some momentum going. I had two separate games where Isaiah had 5 xp by the end.
I think I discarded more evil enhancements than I played, and I think I played almost as many DAEs as evil as I did actual evil enhancements.

This was my first time running this deck against anyone other than my brother, and there are definitely some changes I would make. I don't think I ever actually used either Jonah animal - despite loving the cards, whenever I grabbed them I ended up playing them down because my hand was too darn full. A Storehouse or two wouldn't go amiss, and swapping some enhancements (on both sides) for a character or two would likely be wise. I'm very much looking forward to updating this deck once PoC Phase 2 - particularly King Tiglath-Pileser, Angel of His Presence, and Potter and Clay - are available!

I forgot to ask your reasoning for the inclusion of Coliseum. I see now that you are only running two Forgotten Histories so that makes more sense.

I didn't write anything down at the tournament, so take my imperfect memory with a grain of salt when it comes to details.

Game 1 - Simon Miller
I think Simon and I need to stop signing in one after the other - it seems we play each other in the first round of a lot of tournaments. I played this deck against Simon a lot while tweaking it in preparation for this tourney, so we both knew each other's decks pretty well. Unfortunately for him, that allowed me to get a very solid Confusion. He also made the questionable decision of using Lingering in Sodom on my War - even though he was able to get the soul that rescue, he captured it to his Sodom and Gomorrah, it just sat there the rest of the game since I couldn't rescue it and since S&G specifies discarding a human he wasn't able to use its Add to Battle for the rest of the game. I got my engine rolling while keeping his search-heavy offense down with Jonah, and he wasn't able to keep up with me drawing nine cards a turn, leading me to a fairly definitive win.

Game 2 - Seth (Don't remember his last name)
Seth was running the Captured Priest/Covenant of Palestine combo. I love the idea, but unfortunately for him I was able to disrupt it with a big 2kH block. With half his offense sitting in my Land of Bondage, I was able to hold him off pretty decisively for a 7-0 victory.

Game 3 - Nathan Voigt
Nathan and I actually had comparable decks - he was running Star prophets, I was running old Isaiah. He got off to a worrisome start with some solid Star Isaiah attacks (killing half my reserve with Righteous Judge's Star ability while he was at it), but my Jonah shuffled twice as many cards as his and eventually he was left without a territory. He tried hiding defenders in his hand, but Hidden Treasures/His Name just reserved them, allowing me to walk in to rescue three Majestic Heavens tokens (I had to Bury the Dull in it to generate my final soul).

Game 4 - Justin Alstad
I'm not gonna lie - just sitting down across a table from Justin tilts me a bit. I have a ton of respect for him as a player, and in some ways it feels like a David v. Goliath every time I play him - even more than it usually does with high-level players. At any rate, he got what he claimed was one of the best opening hands he'd ever gotten with his deck, and I got a handful of evil cards. His turn 1 Mighty Men got a full draw 7 off Scattered, Envy, and Damsel, while I didn't even have a hero until turn 2. In the end I intentionally avoided getting more Isaiah angels to increase my draw, trying to drought him while I built up enough good cards to actually get through. In the end I eventually did draw souls, and used TSC to get SoG from my deck so I only lost 3-7.

Game 5 - Nathan Leverson
Nathan got off to a solid start with both Music Leaders right away, and his (good) Woes sitting on my Babel so that they actually functioned. However, once I got Jonah in play, he never triggered Music Leaders again for the rest of the game (despite my copious searching). If I remember right, he never even attacked, so spooked was he by my defense and the looming threat of Jonah.

Final Score: 4-1, +15 differential

CBN for me, and not for thee. When playing someone like Isaiah, who is unlikely to get initiative, I don't want anyone dropping any CBN battlewinners that I can't throw Live Coals at. While it does make Fogotten History and Scattered basically worthless, it puts a deep dent in a lot of other decks while leaving my offense completely unscathed.

Yeah, makes sense. During our game, I incorrectly assumed you would be running Forgotten History x4, which is why I was so confused and why I hesitated played Shipwreck on it.

How were you able to draw 6 with Isaiah? I was under the impression that all the Isaiah angels are Unique. They aren't listed as generic in the ORCHID or on the card.
Some call me "Goofus"

On page 99 of the REG both Seraph and Seraph with a Live Coal are in the "Generic Heroes" list.

Great job Greg you ran me over. Simon and I had a pity party the last round. Good catch on the confusion LOL.

It was actually pretty strange to see all the lopsided games between the top players...

Round 2 Nathan ran Jayden over.
Round 3 Greg ran Nathan over.
Round 4 I ran Greg over.
Then Round 5 Jayden ran me over to finish the circle...
