I am hosting a district tournament at my residence in Clermont Florida at:
10404 Calle De Flores Drive (just off of Rt. 27)
Clermont FL 34711

on 2/21/15, also each future tournament will have its own post.

The district would be $5 entry at door, and would have T1-2P, T1 multi, T2-2p, T2 multi, and booster draft (which would cost $10 (unless you brought your own booster packs we are using limited, prophets, apostles, patriarchs, kings, angel wars, and priests).

Deck check in is at 9 am.  Type 1 2 player will be running against Type 2 Multi.  Type 1 Multi will be running against Type 2 2 player, then there will be a short lunch break, and Booster Draft and prizes to follow.

prizes are TEC packs, and promos for district are King Solomon, also, winners promo is Dragon Raid.

There will be a lunch break where time permits.  I will have snacks available for anyone who wants.  I will have peanut butter and jelly, and chicken salad available for those who do not want to bring or buy lunch. Also, canned soda, and water bottles, and juice will be available.  For those who want something else, Publix, Subway, and McDonald's are within 1 mile of my house.

There will also be cake.

Also, as I've seen done up north, I will be having what was called a sealed auction.  There will be five envelopes, each with a card name on it where anyone can put a bid with their name on it, and amount they would like to bid on the card being offered, minimum $1.00, and once everyone that wants to has bid, the winners will be announced and can purchase their cards at the price that they bid if they are the highest bidder.  The five cards that we are offering at this district tournament are: Destruction of Nehushtan (patriarchs), Asherah Pole (kings), Haman's Plot (patriarchs), Wrath of Satan (warriors), and Guardian of Your Souls (apostles).

Deck check in starts in 33 hours.  I'm so excited.  Please contact me here or PM with any questions.

delarosajon,

I'm expecting ten or more at last count.  Still waiting for some people to get back to me.  Are you guys planning to attend?

Did you guys need to crash at my place? Depending on how long your visit is, we could put together an impromptu local tournament in addition to Steven's district tournament.

Thank you to all who were able to make the tournament.  It was a lot of fun.  We ran all 5 categories.  We had cake.  We had good times.  Tim (YMT) took pictures.  When he has time I hope he can upload them to the boards.  With the Dragonraid promo, we got to have our cake, and eat it too.  I have another district scheduled at the end of March.  I hope to have all the details posted in the next few days.  We did have a number of people who were unable to attend last minute.  And we are in the process of developing new players.  It should be a lot of fun, as central Florida continues to grow.

The top photo is a cake.

The middle photo has TheKarazyVP (aka Josh Kopp) on the right (holding up his cards).

The bottom photo has my son standing dazed and confused. The guy wearing the Star Trek shirt is whiteandgold7 (aka Steven Kivelowitz). I am the guy behind the lens taking the pictures.

I will let Steven fill you in on who the others are, since there are from his playgroup.

The second photo opposite Josh Kopp is Matthew (Ty) Kelly, one of the players from Kissimmee, FL.

The Third photo sitting next to me in a camo type of shirt is Sean, he's one of the players from Clermont, FL.  Opposite of us, the girl is Elizabeth Kivelowitz (my oldest daughter).  And next to her with his back to the camera is Ryan Kelly (Matthew's older brother), also from Kissimmee, FL.

Hope to have more pictures to follow from future tournaments.

Steven
