What sounds like a good month to apply for State?

ok 17 views and no responses...

I have noticed in the past few years that the earliest state is around march and continue on to around june or so...

I dont want it to be too early, but im excited about applying for GA State this year- so maybe during summer break would be best in hopes of a good turnout when it comes to player participation. *cough* Ga guys  ;)

Allpy for it now, but as for choosing a date I would not go earlier than late April.  Almost all of them happen in May

Hey,

Nationals is usually the first weekend of August.  Regionals are usually in June or July (Most of them being the first two weekends of July).  States are usually in May or June (Most of them being in June, occasionally you'll see one in late April).

In some years there has been a day in March on which State and Regional Tournaments were awarded.

I think it depends on your state.

In KY, most tournaments for the last few years have been connected with my school.  Therefore, having the state tournament happen in April was important so it could happen while students were still in school.  It was important to have the regional tournament in July when students were back for summer school.  And it was important to not have anything in June, because no one was here :)
