Title: Unofficial Twenty-Ten NC Regional Announcement

Hey All,

Just to help those in the NC Region with their summer planning...

This past Saturday I mailed in an application to host the 2010 NC Regional tournament. Here are the details:

Dates: Friday July 23 and Saturday July 24.

Times: Friday July 23 5:30 pm
           Saturday July 24 Session I   8:30 am
           Saturday July 24 Session II   5:00 pm  (estimate)

Events: All seven sanctioned events.

Cost:  $10 One-time Fee
          $10 Sealed Deck
          $15 Booster Draft

Location: North Heights Lutheran Church   Arden Hills Campus

Miscellaneous:  There will be lodging available at the church on Friday night so bring a sleeping bag.
                        The church has shower facilities available so bring a towel.

Food: There will be food/beverages available for purchase throughout the tournament.

Proposed Schedule: Since I really want to highlight the marquis events I thought we would do

    Friday:  Sealed, T1-MP, Booster, Teams, T1-2P
    Saturday (Session I)  T2-MP
    Saturday (Session II)  T2-2P

Although this schedule strikes me as practically perfect in every way, please feel free to offer any suggestions you might have. ;)


Note: This is an unofficial announcement until such time that Rob approves the tournament application. I just wanted to get this information out so folks could set aside the dates. More details (including a revised schedule--if people think changes are necessary) will be provided after the tournament is official.

That schedule is awesome.  Do you mind if I play in more than one event at a time on Friday night? ;)

Hey Gabe,

Matt forgot to put in Type S on Friday night. So yes, you can play in more than one event on friday night. :)

We had better play Type S. I was super dissapointed that we didn't offer it at the T2 only local. Will we be using foils?

We will be using foils for S-Type 2. I just recieved the new set this week.
