Yeah I had him tied on points and beat by one LS differential, but he got me in the head to head matchup 6-3.

If RDT would have lost his last game and Craig would have won his last game, Craig would have taken 4th. But neither of those things happened. We let Craig do just well enough to keep him and his decks coming back. If we combined all the wins for his decks that were in the tournament his decks would have won.

Professor had alot of close games including two timed out wins and had to tear 4 card before his final game. (I didn't want to reveal anything about his deck so I won't name the cards.)

Justin closest win was 7-6 against Andy our one Canadian player who although new to type 2 gave the Guardian a scare.

Based on the results, for next year we were thinking of having a closed tournament at Mom Alstads house with just immediate family members invited.  But enough people came from around the globe to keep the 11th annual Type 2 Only an open tournament again next year. This year no one flew in but we had players from Iowa, Wisconsin, Missouri, Canada and Russia.

He took a kayak across the Bering Sea, hitchhiked thru Alaska and Canada, met up with Andy in Canada out side of Sudbury and drove with him to the Twin Cities. Not sure how he was getting home, he was hard to understand.

I was impressed with your play. Your only losses were to the top three placers and they were all close 5-7 games. Hope you can make it back.

Arg. Had it not been for some silly choir conflict I would've played John in the last round instead of having to leave and would have taken third if I won... My apologies family...
