Title: Timeout Wins

After hearing some results from some recent tournaments, it has made me wonder why should time out wins not earn you equal amount of points as a regular win. I feel like it could seriously help out defense heavy decks.

Any thoughts or reasons this would be a problem?

This was recently brought up (http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/redemption-official-rules/rule-change-proposal-points/msg507906/#msg507906) by yours truly. I'm fully in favor of this, but it doesn't look like there's much hope.
