It would be nice if TEAMS and Type 2 multi would be separate. Would you be willing to switch TEAMS and type 1 multi? Or bettter yet play booster after type 2 multi like we did last year? Otherwise it looks good super pumped.

This. I happen to be getting out or school that day so it will be a lovely introduction to summer.

It would be super nice if Teams and T2MP were separate... They're the only categories I care about this year ;)

We'll flip Booster and TEAMS.

Bump. Another adjustment by dropping T1-Multiplayer to Friday night. The problem with the old schedule is it gave the younger players with no money nothing to do on Friday. This allows them to play in three categories, while still giving a T1 opportunity for every category.

Also, pick your preferred Booster Draft (if you're planning on playing it):
Classic
New Set
All Tins

Classic

All Tins

What are the odds that we repeat last year, and do Booster after T2 multi? I'll play T2 Multi instead of Booster probably if they conflict probably, but if they don't, I vote for Classic.

Ring Wraith, why can't Booster be on Sat.? I can't be there on Fri.
Because TEAMS, Booster, and T1-2P are the most popular categories, so it's best if they're separate. I had Booster on Saturday but that made TEAMS conflict with T2-2P, and people didn't like it, so we switched it. It also gives something for the T1 people who hate Multiplayer (which should be everybody) to play on Friday.

Will lunch be provided? Will Everlasting Beings be available? (Please be available please be available...)
We can take an offering of Everlasting Beings for those that don't have them. I'm quite sure we won't have them, but we have about 10 and I can only imagine how many the Alstads, Voigts, and Brinkmans have. Lunch will be offered, but I think there will be a price. We haven't figured all that out yet though.

There will be a free room you can sleep in Friday night. Unfortunately our church doesn't have beds like North Heights. If anybody needs a place to stay Thursday or Saturday, we have some room at our house.

Is there a place outside for a tent? My youngest always wants to sleep in a tent. (Until we get there that is. Then he wants to go to Perkins at 3:00 am and not sleep at all.)

Not sure what the plans exactly are, but I'm sure that there will be a caravan going down from the Cities. I'll probably end up driving a van. Will let you know as the time approaches.

Booster Draft will be $15 for a classic draft without Angel Wars, but with TexP and Disciples.

Doesn't sound like the church will allow it. You could probably camp in our back yard, but it's a 15 minute drive to the church.

Updated with food plan and more comprehensive description of amenities. Classic Draft will be done with TexP and Disciples, but without a $3 pack. We can determine that when it comes time.

After further discussion, it sounds like there will be a place for a tent at the church.

Please notify me with your attendance plans!

What is this, Type O you speak of, and why have I not played it?

You must have misread. There is an initial entry fee of $5. Sealed and Draft cost money, everything else (not food) is free (after entry fee). It is listed as such.

Oh, and the guy doing the food is a restaurant type guy. It'll be a buffet style, and it's usually really quite good. He does all food coordinating at our church, which includes a supper every Saturday. Also, my sister helps out with it, and thus it's even better.

After consulting with my parents, I will be officially driving their minivan down to around here from the Twin Cities, probably leaving around 4:00 PM or so. There will be three (maybe 4-the van seats 7 max and six comfortably, but the more the merrier) available seats (after myself, Britta and Jayden) so PM me or post here if you need a ride. Each seat taker will need to give me $10 for gas (that will take care of the ride to and from the tourney), those under 18 will need to have their parents affirm their permission with me, and seats will be first come first serve.

PM me or post here if interested. I am planning on playing all three time slots (Friday night, Saturday Morning and Saturday Afternoon) so if you need to be back in the Cities earlier, you will have to arrange for your own transportation back. I will probably have people meet at a common location like NHLC-RV campus, but I can pick you up if you are fairly close to the route to around here.

-Then encourage others to do the same.

-Then resist spamming in the future, and encourage others to do the same - Especially in Official Tournaments, which is a fairly important board for finding tourney info.

We're actually considering doing Booster afterwards (if we have time), as it's the more popular category.

So the tournament is going to be held in the upstairs high school room. I suggest you arrive at the back entrance by the gym. Unfortunately the doors are not numbered, so the "back door" will have to do. It's got a smaller parking lot, and says the "Center" on the door. You can get in at either the gym entrance or the front one, and there will be signs.

Also, we have to see what the interest is for the categories on Friday. Technically they're all going to play at the same time, but we may do one after if there's time. That will be decided then.

Hey,

Redemption cash expired last September(?)

Unless you still have old Redemption cash from before last year that didn't expire.  Or you have redemption cash from a state or regional tournament that was run earlier this year.  As a side note the Redemption cash this year expires December 31 rather than September.
