SEE HERE for Per Room Details From Resort Owner Thomas
SEE HERE for Remaining Available Venue Lodging

CALL 830-935-3430 to book with special rates. Mention REDEMPTION EVENT (add 4% water district, 6% hotel occupancy tax):
$105++/night (small/cabin, sleeps 2-5)
$185++/night (medium cottage, sleeps 4-8)
$225++/night (large cottage, sleeps 6-10)

PLEASE support and use the venue's lodging. Feel free to book your rooms until midweek after Nats if you wish to extend your stay and vacay!

We strongly encourage pooling room expense total, for savings. Doing so, each person spends around from $70++- total for a Wed-Sat night stay based on small room shared space.

FREE:
The venue allows camping (tents) on their property as long as you have access to one of the booked rooms with players ready to share their bathrooms. You can also bring a hammock and sleep in the trees, per owner Thomas S.. No camping on the grass in front of the hall or near the playground area (there are aerobic sprinklers there).

The venue doesn't have public restrooms anywhere on property except for the gaming hall.

We prefer all players to be in rooms, tents etc. and not in the gaming hall for convenience and efficiency (see our free-lodging mission on next post, for needy players). We will not allow any lodging in the gaming hall.

RVs:
No hookups, including running electrical cords to rooms. 12' max height. Venue accommodation for 2. Stay on pavement. Potter's Creek is best bet for RV spot but lots of RV parks. We will shuttle RVers.

Give needy players free cabin lodging for a whole stay! No amount too small to give. Reaching the goal guarantees at least open categories free for all, and will most likely enable discounted fees for closed categories if extra is gained. All prepaid tourney fees will then refunded. The fund will also be used for expenses such as gas for shuttle service volunteers sharing their vehicles, overheads, etc.

I'm posting to see about some clarification as I know it might change how people stay within the rooms.  Based on what the website says and the pictures show this is what I'm seeing.

Small Cottage (2-4 people):

2 double beds OR 1 double bed/1 set of bunk beds OR 1 king
*appears to have no extra room for more cots/mattresses.

Medium Cottage (4-8 people):

1 bedroom + living room
*Only shows what looks to be a twin size bed.  Are there couches or extra room for cots/mattresses?

Large Cottage (6-10 people):

1 bedroom, living room, upstairs loft with twin bed + 1 set of bunk beds
*shows 2 futons/couches, double (maybe queen) size bed, then the twin and bunk beds.
*Is there additional room for more cots/mattress?

The info below I got from their other website says:
$105++/night (small/cabin, sleeps 2-5)
$185++/night (medium cottage, sleeps 4-8)
$225++/night (large cottage, sleeps 6-10)

We will soon get a definitve answer to your question from the resort owner himself who is now a member of these forums. As a plus - he is a Redemption player himself coz he learned the game in 2019.

Small Cottage (2-4 people):

2 double beds OR 1 double bed/1 set of bunk beds OR 1 king
*appears to have no extra room for more cots/mattresses.

Medium Cottage (4-8 people):

Hello everyone!
We are honored and excited to be hosting the Redemption National Tournament this year! What a blessing to have met Roy in what can only be described as a "meant to be" moment.

Quick overview of our place: we are located on 5 acres in the Hill Country, which means lots of trees and lots of outdoor space. Onsite, we have a saltwater pool, sand volleyball court, playground, hammocks, grills, picnic tables, a games area with cornhole, washers, and horseshoes, and a great view of Canyon Lake from the porch of our Outback Hall. We also have free Wifi across the property.

You can access the lake at several points, including Canyon Park (a 5 minute drive from us), which has a sandy beach so you can jump right in the water. We are also about a 15 minute drive from the Guadalupe River "horseshoe," where tubers come from all over to enjoy. **Note - Shanty Tubes offers a shuttling service to and from our venue, and a $2 discount when you mention you are staying with us.**

We are located 5 minutes from a grocery store, restaurants, and convenience stores, and we are happy to tell you where the locals eat.  ;)

As for our lodging setup - we have 24 rooms total, coming in 3 different sizes:
13 Small Cabins (motel style, beds, kitchenette and bathroom). Six of the rooms have 2 full beds each. Five of the rooms have a full bed and a bunk bed that has a full on bottom/twin on top. One room has a king size bed. One room is the handicap/ADA accessible, which has a queen and full bed.
5 Medium Cottages (1 bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom). Four of these have a queen bed and full bed in the bedroom, with 2 full-size futons in the living room. The fifth one has a queen bed in the bedroom, and a full-size sofa bed & one-person futon in the living room.
6 Large Cottages (1 bedroom plus loft, living room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms). All of these have a bedroom w/queen bed & private bathroom, and a loft that has a bunk bed with full on bottom/twin on top and a second twin bed. The downstairs has a kitchen, living room with 2 full-size futons, and a second full bathroom.

The Small Cabins really don't have room for air mattresses or cots, with the exception of the handicap accessible room, which has more floor space.
The Medium Cottages could likely accommodate one air mattress.
The Large Cottages could accommodate an air mattress in the loft area and one in the living room.

We do allow tents on the grounds, as long as you have access to a room for bathroom purposes. You can also bring a hammock and sleep in the trees!

Check out our YouTube page and see videos of rooms, the grounds, and our amenities. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbOaneIQvLhuv5Emf94XjeA/videos

Feel free to call us at 830-935-3430 or email us at CLcabins@gmail.com if you have any questions, or you're ready to book a room.

We look forward to meeting everyone!

Thomas, thanks for the comprehensive info!

What Chris wanted to know is what exactly the room occupancy numbers mean:
A. Small/cabin, sleeps 2-5 (must occupants share a bed? How does the room total get to 5? Must some occupants bring a sleeping bag)
B. Medium cottage, sleeps 4-8 (similar question as above)
C. Large cottage, sleeps 6-10 (similar question as above)

The topside number is maximum sleeping capacity.  We supply enough pillows & towels for this many guests in their room. The lower number is, on average, the number of actual beds.
If you refer to my previous post you can get a detailed description of our rooms and decide which style room works best for your group and comfort level.
Hope this information helps!

Apologies if I somehow misled, but Roy's pricing information was correct. I believe he is also setting up a GoFundMe page to help with expenses. As soon as I have the link I will do what I can to promote it.

Can we set up tents for free as long as we know someone in a nearby cabin?

Yes, the only requirement is to be able to access any of the rooms that shares their bathrooms with you. I'm pretty sure most if not all players booking rooms and cottages will share their bathroom access.

Let us get a majority opinion on which type of T1-2P event players prefer at Nats2021. There is no guarantee that the original plan will change. I personally would go for LoC only in that it gives much more equal chances for all. And so I will vote.

Wow I am gonna have to think about my vote. On one had I like the idea of a more even playing field, that is if everyone attending has been able to get enough cards for LoC only. This will definitely effect what I decide to unbox next month as I will need more loc cards to do it justice. Still chasing that chronicles.

On the other hand , I have really been trying to improve my T1 deck designs, so that would lean me toward regular play. Gonna need some time to think about it.

As an experienced player who would go if he wasn't moving, if I focused on T1 this year, which I most likely would, LoC only would make me skip Nationals.

Any MN players or anyone else headed through the vicinity of Kansas City with room for one more in the car pool? Flights are stupid expensive between KC and Texas for some reason and I don't have a car that is trustworthy for that long of a trip.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

While we haven't really discussed travel plans yet, my guess is that most of us MN players will be flying. If I hear of anyone in our crew making the roadtrip though, I'll see what I can do to get you in on it.

Let us get a majority opinion on which type of T1-2P event players prefer at Nats2021. There is no guarantee that the original plan will change. I personally would go for LoC only in that it gives much more equal chances for all. And so I will vote.
While I'm probably going to play T2 anyway, I would definitely play T2 if it was against LoC Only rather than T1-2P. I don't think there's enough variety in LoC Only to make it all that exciting at a National tournament level, plus if Booster is going to be 2P LoC Only as well, then it will feel like almost the same category. The argument for LoC Only that I could see is that if GoC isn't released before Nats, then the meta for T1-2P might look very much the same, but I think there has been a lot of development/discovery since Nats in T1-2P since Nats that could give Throne a run for its money.

I also could imagine that T1-2P as LoC only might be difficult for possible T1 interested players who do not (yet) own/have enuogh LoC cards available or can afford them.

You're in KS now? I'm hoping to drive down from here and would have room for one more.
