Let me know if you will be able to attend or need more information.

It should be official. The request to host this event was successfully faxed to Rob on Friday. Out of staters are always welcome. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Bro Terry,
Roughly what time does the tournaments end? And are there hotels near to where you live?
Thanks and God bless ya.

The tournament will probably run thru 6 pm. as long as we get to start it as close to 9 am. as possible.
The Type 1 and 2 events will run simultaneously at 9:00 am. Four rounds.
After a lunch break, we will continue with the Type 1 and 2 Multi events. Three rounds.
Finally, players may choose to participate in Booster Draft or Closed Deck. Three or four rounds.
There are several very nice hotel/motels in the area.

Just a fun little fact. The 4th Edition cards, tuck box and rulebook are being printed at Cartamundi in Dallas, TX. I started uploading files to their FTP site yesterday. It's a little more expensive. Nevertheless, I am hoping for improved quality and proud to say Made in the USA on these. We hope to have finished cards here ready to ship by mid June.
Sorry for the thread jack. I now return you to your regular scheduled programming.
Rob

Sooooooo...... Does this mean we might begin seeing articles soon? ;D

Cartamundi is the top of the line when it comes to CCG printing. Very nice ;D

Rob,
Thank you soo very much for giving Texas bragging rights. We Texans can proudly(gleefully) tell our Northern brothers and sisters that Redemption is made in THE great state of Texas. (Mad scientist laughter)
Hope to see some of yall at bro terry's place for the tournament.

Take a good look at the new starter deck and new tin. Very likely we will be using those for the SouthCentral Tournament which should be last Saturday in June or July. Hope to see you all for the States on Saturday, June 1st.
-
Who all will be there? CJ and Chris I hope?
-
As far as I know, CJ and Jacob, Marcus, Buddy, Noel, Xavier, Noah, Countfount and his son, Larry, my granddaughter (breanna) and me and you (possibly my son Brett. I have not heard from Joe or Howard, Ben or Jordan, Neeka or Bethany, or Jon and Sarah.
-
Me, Cj, and hopefully my friend Brandon will be coming. I am also pleased to announce that cj has converted to type 2. we figured this will increase competition with type 2 and also level the playing field for type 1. Cj has definitely been giving me a run for my money the few times he's played and he is learning quickly, so Marcus and buddy, bring your Agame. Brandon is by far the fastest learner I've ever taught so it will be exciting to see how he does. You guys might remember him from the Arkansas state tournament last yr and I guarantee he is hungry for 1st place. See you guys Saturday. -Jacob
-
Fantastic, Jacob. There are two guys from Missouri who play Type 2 that will be there, too. Now if we only knew how to contact Ben. No crying when I smushed you, Jacob.
I heard from our friends in Arkansas. A couple might be able to make it to regionals.
Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday.
-
Hey, Jacob. What Type is Brandon playing?
-
I will be playing magic the gathering Jk ill be doing type 1 single and multi might do draft idk yet I'd need to get some more money out for that, sorry I haven't played much or talked to you guys I don't get to hang out with Jacob as much anymore since we both quit Wally World but even tho it has been almost a year I'm still a force to recon with lol

Texas State Results
I want to thank those of you who helped make this tournament such an enjoyable experience. Special thanks to Craig Fountain who hails from Missouri. We showed him! (only kidding, it was great to fellowship with him). Thanks Brenna for coming to the tournament..your first. Now you can gear up for the Regionals on Saturday, June 29th. And a big Thank you to Marcus Parker for helping with the judging.
Closed Deck:
For the third year in a row, Noel Mendoza won this event. His brother, Xavier, placed second. Brenna Zerby took third place.
Type 1-2 Player:
Brandon Crossland, making his first appearance since last year's Arkansas State Tournament, won this event by sweeping victories in his rounds. Bethany Dunn just edged out her father as she placed second. Buddy Dunn placed third, but was quite proud of his daughter's play.
Type 2-2 Player:
No surprize here. Jacob Martinez pummled his opponents (not a very Christianlike thing to do, but his opponents knew it was coming) and won this event. Craig Fountain (not sure how he slipped in here) placed second and Marcus Parker finished third.
Type 1-Multi:
Marcus Parker (seemingly threatened by the pool of Type-2 players entering that event), decided he liked his chances better playing Type 1 this time around. His decision paid off as he took 1st place in the Type 1-Multi event. Brandon Crossland took home 2nd while Noel Mendoza quietly snuck into third place.
Type 2-Multi:
Terry Markoff took first place while Craig Fountain took second place. C.J. Jackson, playing in his first Type 2 events today, took 3rd place.
Booster Draft:
We had a tie for first place. Craig Fountain (that's the last tournament we're inviting him to) and C.J. Jackson narrowly edged out Jacob Martinez, who had to be satisfied with a third place finish.
I hve pre-ordered 16 new starter decks and 16 of the new tin. Hope to see an even bigger tournout for Regionals in 4 weeks.
-
