Cactus Game Design Message Boards

What I want to see:

-- When Tyler Stevens and Kirk Dennison are paired up in Type-2 2 player, I would enjoy watching a cage match (Beating with chairs is allowed) instead of them playing their game.

In all reality though, to get me to watch any of it, things I would like to see:

-- The top table, from the first game to the last game, to see what decks make it there and what loses/wins and which is the last standing.

-- As a player such as myself who isn't that great, I think one game should be chosen at random after each pairings and have it streamed. That way it's not just the same top player over and over, but also the mediocre players such as myself (plus there's just something really cool about being streamed onto the internet, just saying).

-- Something that I would be MOST interested in watching is someone (or a few people) open up Disciples packs and then show what was in each. This would give those of us who don't get to watch people open them a chance to see what to expect when we get ours.

If I bring my camera I could make some youtube videos, for release after nats.

Yeah that'll be allowed.

No, it wasn't. Seeing as how cg25 was in charge of the filming partially, yeah, he would know.

long story short i went to do it and rob and chris said no cause my hovering with a camera would have been too distracting i also apologize i simply played alot more then i was first thinking i would but roy did have a live stream all weekend

I actually watched a good part of the live feed, and I thought it was a great thing to have for the first time.  It was cool to see Rob Anderson playing a pick-up game with someone.  It was cool to see Travis Brown show a complete set of Disciples cards over the feed.  It was cool to just get a feel for what the room was like, how many people were there, and seeing who was sitting at the top table.

Sure there are a lot of things that would be great to enhance the experience next year, but congrats for getting the ball rolling this year.  I appreciate what we had

Well i guess we just missed each other then Mark cuz again ...i felt so alone- like i was in a box, looking out and no one could see me. I waved. and shouted. I saw many faces i knew- Kevin, Rob, Bryon, christiangamer, Roy, Marti, Gretchen, Tyler, Kirk, Chris Bany, and yet- they knew not i was there. It was so good to see you guys though. Maybe next time. Im sure Ill see you guys some day.
