I would love to have state and regionals at my house. Caiden usually sleeps in our bedroom anyways, so that frees up the bunkbeds and we have the pullout couch upstairs. Couch, airbed, and bed upstairs and everyone else has to bring sleeping bags. so that should take care of about 15 people...I can try to get about 2 more tables. Just lemme know.
This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

Sleep? At regionals? Are you KIDDING?
[/quote]

Sleeping, is this a common thing at distant tournaments or are you just being sarcastic? I'm curious because next month I'm going to my 1st district up in Orlando and will be my longest trip for redemption up to that present time, but considering Regionals in the summer in GA would be a step higher. Also considering the distance for me (south fl) would spending the night be a good idea? Does that question depend on which tournament types I want to particpate in and which days or times their registrations begin?

I would say spending the night would be a great idea since I assume it'll be at least a 3-4 hour trip.

As for my comment, sleeping the night before is never a bad thing, at regionals though the night (in between the two days of gaming) is spent with more gaming, fun, and silliness.

My travel would be about 12 hours driving. I was talking to my other friend about going, the one who's showing alittle opposition right now. He actually suggested flying. How much would a plane ticket cost? I even thought of a train since I've never traveled by train before. Besides the travel, the night of silliness, fun and more gaming still sounds good to me, haha.

State at my house and regionals at your church sounds good to me Tyler. See if you can go ahead and reserve the date ASAP. I'm not sure if i can help pay for cost for regionals though- especially if im hosting state.

I need to ask my fiancee when some of the weddings are that we're going to this summer (not ours...it's not until October). So, I'll do this in the next couple of days to let you know what weekends I know I can't make.

Chris, I should be able to come to your regionals assuming that you get it and it's not on a weekend that I can't go...

Tyler, my spriest has almost 3k spell power unbuffed now. She's hawt! And I've got a 32 shammy I'm working on.

Clift I will try and reserve, unless we can get Eric's old church. Chris I would love that. And Eric, keep up the good work on the shaman, what race is he, or she I know you, and what's his, or her, name?

Well, my old church is no more, sadly. They took some heavy flooding damage during all the flooding, plus they weren't doing too well financially, so they ended up having to get rid of the church.

33 Male Orc Shammy - Orcquake. Created him after the Haiti earthquake...lawl. You should check out Life; she's pretty beastly.
