I am quite sad...i just realized that im in a wedding in june and i have to go the wedding party on saturday... :( Let me know when the next one is though! i think my deck is still decent soooo we will see :)

Eric, Luke and I should be able to make it. We'll probably get there close to 11AM. Is that an OK time? I'm going to the first game of our girl's soccer tournament at 8AM.

The State tournament is tentatively planned for June 29.  The new cards will be used for Sealed Deck.

The Regional will be after July 4.  The new set will be legal for all events.

We will probably be having a playgroup meeting on a Sunday afternoon before June 29.  I'll try to keep you updated on this thread.

Will State be on June 29th?  I am planning on coming down that day so I hope there's a tournament to play in :).

Remnants of Marcus' group will be coming (aka me) for State and my brothers and I will all be trying for Regionals.

Looking on Bryon's website I could not help but notice that the schedule has both the booster draft and the sealed decks at the same time. Is this true for State or for Regional or for both? Just wondering if that is the tentative schedule because then I will have to make the hard decision of choosing between which new cards I want to play with first!

BLOCK 1:  Saturday 9 am - 2 pm
Type 2 2-player
Type 1 multi-player
 
BLOCK 2:  Saturday 2 am - 5 pm
Type 1 2-player
Type 2 multi-player
 
BLOCK 3: Saturday 5 pm - 8 pm
Sealed Deck 2-player OR Teams
Booster Draft multi-player

It'll be great to see some of you again.

That schedule hasn't been used in some time.  Since most players will want to play both sealed categories, I expect Bryon won't have them conflict.

sk is correct.  That is an old schedule.  In fact, we are only playing 5 categories this year. 

Booster Draft and Sealed Deck will be held at different times, since I expec those to be very popular categories.  The other 3 categories are Type 1 2-player, Type 2 2-player, and Teams.

When is TEAMS going to be? I would like to know because I need to know if I have to have a TEAMS deck or a T2 2P deck in case those are scheduled to be at the same time, and I would also need a partner for TEAMS!

Since there are 5 categories and we have a hard end time, I'm going to set up the schedule on the day of the event.  Most likely, everyone will get to register for 2 events on Saturday am, and then I'll put the schedule together so that everyone is gets to do what they want.

So, assume you will get to do the two categories you care the most about, and I'll do my best to make that happen.

Hey Bryon is there any particular reason the new cards wont be legal at the State tourney? I see no reason why we cant use them... I dont think any of us in attendance would really mind.
