September 8 is very possible for me.  I have at least one or two others interested.  What's the time frame and where about do you live?  Luke said somewhere near us.

I was thinking of starting around 9:30 am.  $5 entry,  $5 suggest donation for food.  Will probably have pizza or sandwiches available, along with Pretzels, Veggies, Ice Tea.

My address is:
16 Blackwatch Trail Apt 2 Fairport, Ny -Just outside of Rochester

Possible schedule:
T1-2player  10:00am
Round 1 10-10:45 Round 2 10:45-11:30 Round 3 11:30-12:15

12-12:15 Lunch

T1-Multiplayer
Round 1  12:15-1  Round 2  1-1:45

T2-Multiplayer
Round 1 2:00pm-3:15

t2-2pLayer
Round 1 3:15-4:15, Round 2 4:15-5:15

Sealed deck later on if desired  $9 Dollars for just packs. Have open sealed decks for lower level tournies.

Schedule subject to change as I would really like to be able to particpate in t1multi when my kids are naping.

Let me know if you guys can make it so I get enough food and set up both my tables.

In addition to me and my boys, there is a real possibility that Aaron will come with me as well.  (Only catch is that he will have been married for less than a week...however, his new wife has to work all day.)

Sounds good!

Mr.Tumnus, Will your group be making it?  I want to make sure I have enough food.

Updated count for the food:
I just came from the Reception, and Aaron said that he likely will not make it now.  His boss (who happen to be at the wedding) said he could save a vacation day if he came in on Saturday.  Aaron is leaning towards saving a vacation day (by going into work) instead of coming to the tournament. Sorry for the flip flop, but I figured you would want the information as soon as I knew.

Thanks for the update.  I can understand that!  Looking forward to some redemption play this weekend.

Anyone else going to make it?

I hope to have one the second or third Sunday in November.  I need to get the paperwork done though.

 :bump:

My local is planned for Sun. Nov. 18th (around 1 PM is deck check).   I am deciding between T2 Multi or Sealed as the 4th category.
EDIT: I dropped both Multi categories and went with Sealed and Teams to go with the 2 player events.
My district is slated for Sun.  Dec. 2nd.  We will have the standard 4 (or I can swap one for sealed).
EDIT: I used the same four as the earlier local.

I just noticed a new posted on the redemption facebook site about offering king david or NJ for winner promos, were you able to get either of those and what promos did you go for the local and district events?

By the way I want to apologize for being so out of the loop, I am trying to get back into it, I've just been very busy with 2 jobs, school full time, and trying to start a business. But hopefully I will be getting back into this very soon. I hope to do a tournament soon, but unfortunately I don't have any ink to print off the papers so yeah bummer.

Hey guys, I am hosting a tournament on the 21st, its a local, promo is Goshen, four categories, type 1 2 player, type 1 multi player, booster draft(hopefully) and I think the last one might be type 2 two player. Hoping to get more info on the website soon. But yeah hope some of you at least can make it. The 21st is a Monday, Martin Luther King Day, it might be hard I understand but I hope some of you can come!

I'm hoping to make this with my boys but we are battling the flu.  We've all had it for 4 days.  MLK day would be day 8 and I'm told with rest we would be over it in 6.

If you guys don't have T2...then does the price change if we leave after T1 2p or is it $10 regardless?

If you end up going to Luke's tournament let me know. I don't play anymore but would still be interested in meeting you eventually and he's not too far from me,

Jonathan
We'd love to have you & your crew!  Hope you get well soon.
The cost for the tourney is only $5.
I wanted my crew to bring some extra for food, especially if it went beyond dinner (it should not)
We've got lunch covered.
Hope to see you then!
Joe

Thank you for your reply Joe.

Unfortunately, my boys didn't finish their homework (from a week without school from the flu) today and must work on it tomorrow.  My wife asked me not to go and stay to help her with the kids (she rarely requests this of me...so I take note when she does ask), so I am heartbroken to say that I will not make it.  I like to support my local area tournaments with my presence, but the flu kind of messed up my plans to play with you guys.  Hopefully, the next time I plan to come it will not be so ill-fated.  :'(
