If You're Coming to Nationals

A few people have asked about what time the church will be open on Wednesday. I plan to be there beginning at 5PM to welcome people. The address is 2707 Dubuque ST NE, North Liberty, Iowa.

Rob told me he plans to be around part of Wednesday evening. I assume he will have alternate border packs for sale at that time for all of us that can't wait to get our hands on them!

The official Nationals web page has been updated with the information below about what we are using for limited events.

Booster Draft will use 6 card boxes - Treasures, Disciples, Early Church, Persecuted Church, Cloud of Witnesses & Revelation of John card boxes plus Priests and Kings booster packs.

Sealed deck will use a random I or J starter + one pack from Treasures/Disciples + one pack from Early Church, Persecuted Church, Cloud of Witnesses or Revelation of John.

Please note: We are not set up to take credit cards. Registration will be cash only.

I received word yesterday that both Covenant Games (my supplier) and Cactus Games is out of several of the recent sets!  :(

It looks like we have enough of all except Persecuted Church to cover the booster draft. Persecuted Church will be replaced in the booster draft by Kings and Priests packs. Apparently the vote we had was a moot point.

This will also likely limit our options for Sealed deck as well. Since that event doesn't take place until Saturday we will be able to assess at that time which product we have to eliminate form the list of options to ensure everyone has an equal chance at all available packs. Persecuted Church is almost certainly out. Early Church may possibly need to be cut. Everything else should be good.

Remember kids, three Prophets packs is always a valid choice for Sealed deck! ;D

In fact, I think 2 angel wars might be better than 3 prophets...

The last big tournament I played was Nats 2010 . I fell Missabley short in Sealed deck and Ron was my teams partner.
