With 2 locals under our belt (dominated by Ben Shadrick), The Life Church will be the location of our first District Tournament (Saturday, October 17th).

Events will start at 9:00 am. The promo will be the newest teal priest.

Cost will be $2.50 per category played.

Type 1 2-Player and Type 2 2-Player will be offered in the am session (3 rounds of each).

Lunch break will start right after the results of the 3rd games have been posted and prizes awarded. Players are encouraged to bring lunch or money if they want to dine out. Players may choose to receive redemption cash or packs if they place in an event.

Type 1 Multi-Player and Type 2 Multi-Player will be offered during the pm session. Expect a 3:30-4:00 finish time.

We had 12 at our district tournement. John Jacob Martinez won both the Tpe 1 2 player and muti=player events while Luz Mora came in 2nd both times. CJ came in 3rd in muti-playerwhile Marcus Rutledge came in 3rd in the 2 player event.

Marcus Parker won both the Type 2 events with Buddy Dunn and Terry Markoff finishing 2nd and 3rd.

A good time was had by all.

Next up is another District Tournament on November 7th.

Cactus lists the tournament on 11/7 as a local, not a district.

Have no fear. I received confirmation today that my application requesting a District Tournament was approved for November 7th. Pizes have been received. See you guys in a couple of weeks.

Just exploring the possibility of holding a Booster Draft after Christmas at The Life Church on a weekday during the day or Saturday..January 2nd. It would be a District Tournament. The draft would include the new set, a set of Rock or FooF cards, unlimited, prophets, apostles, patriarchs, priests, kings, and Angel Wars. It would cost $20 to play. If you think you could make time to play this, please let me know. I would offer the Type 1 and Type 2 Player events in the morning and the Type 1 and 2 Multi-Player events after lunch. A third gaming session would then begin (the Booster Draft) at the conclusion of the muti-player events.

Just a Reminder! There will be a District Tournament on Saturday, December 26th, the day right after Christmas at The Life Church. The first event is scheduled to start at 9 am. Deck checks begin at 8:30 am.

Hoping for a good turnout. Top players (Ben Shadrick, Chad Soderstrom, Marcus Parker), regular play for fun guys and new players all will be welcomed.

Saturday, February 28th Local Tournament at The Life Church

There will be 4 categories, possibly Closed Deck ,too.

Deck checks begin at 8:30 am and the first session will start about 9 am. Pass the word.

Terry i just realized something... you said that the next tourney was sat feb.28 that saturday is non existant... its the 27th thats a sat... is that the day of the tourny???

Thanks for the correction. Saturday February 27th we will hold a Local Tournament at The Life Church in Dallas. The events will include, both Type 1 and 2 2-player and multi events and closed deck.

Will there be some tournaments coming up? Now that it's summer I can go to most (if not all!) redemption tournaments but it looks like there hasn't been one for a while. ;(
are any scheduled to come up soon?
