Title: Potential MN tournament--2P Booster draft tournament

Hey everyone,

Looking at adding a tournament to the North Heights playgroup calendar in addition to the dates Bill has already. This tournament would be a bit different...

To begin we would start as if we were doing Booster draft. It would be a tin draft, but with only certain tins being used. We would likely use 5 or 6 booster packs plus a TexP and a Disciples pack to draft. Once the draft is completed and people have made their decks, we will run a T1 2P tournament using those decks. Once that is complete we will run a booster draft tournament using those same decks.

One idea that I had for a date was the Saturday after Thanksgiving so that people who would normally be out of town with school (Westy, Hobbit) would be able to attend. Thoughts?

Please give feedback if you might be able to attend such a tournament!

I'm actually taking a semester off right now, but I'm working pretty much every weekend. I may be able to get off so I can attend, but I know Thanksgiving time is really busy at work.

My preference would be a weekend other than Thanksgiving, as that would be the least likely to work for me. The Hobbit isn't too far away, so we could kidnap him from River Falls anytime we wanted to. And then maybe Westy could let us know a weekend that would work better for him.

Any of the following Saturdays would be good for me, as that is when my wife is in class; other Saturdays may be negotiable:

9/7
9/21
10/5--Bill Tournament
10/19
11/2--Bill Tournament
11/16
12/6--Bill Tournament
12/20

 These dates work best for me 10/19, 11/16, 12/20

I guess the 20th works the best I think I am done with fall semester and home anyway that weekend.
