Cactus Game Design Message Boards

I noticed that there is a playgroup in Roanoke, Va, but I was wondering if there were any other playgroups in Va closer to the East Coast (Yorktown, Norfolk, Richmond area...).  I'm doing Coast Guard Training in Yorktown and I get the weekends and evenings off so I was curious as to if any playgroup might be nearby and wouldn't mind a temporary out-of-state player =] .  I don't quite have the money to make long trips (Can't travel more than 180 miles/3 hours away by ground transportation due to regulations).  I have one of my decks with me and sometimes the weekends get boring.

We've got one in Lynchburg, VA. I'm not sure how close that is to where you will be staying. I can get you the info on it if you want.

That might be just out of my allowed driving range, but I'm about 3 hours away in Yorktown.  I might be able to schedule a trip to a tourney there maybe.

- Ya, there is one in Roanoke VA. I am not sure of any others around except the one that was menchened in Lynchberg.
