Events & Fees:  CLASSIC Booster Draft ($12.00); Type 1 Multi-Player (free)  ---- planned start 5:00pm or earlier

EVENT DAY #2 --- April 20, 2013 (Saturday):
What:  DISTRICT TOURNAMENT
Venue Hosts:  Empire Gaming's Scott & Matt
Venue: Empire Gaming (337 Main Street, Farmingdale, NY 11735)
Events Begin:  11:30am.
Events & Fees:
PHASE 1:  Tin Booster Draft ($15) *w/ extra packs
PHASE 2:  Type 1 2-Player ($5)
PHASE 3:  Type 1 Multiplayer ($5) OR Type 2 2-Player ($5)

OTHER USEFUL INFO:
1. Empire Gaming's phone no.: (516) 845-4500
2. The gaming store's front entrance is on Main Street.  It is between CVS and the fire station.  Best parking is behind the building.
3. Lots of parking at the back of the store (parking lot).  Fastest way to get to the back of the building is through the narrow street between Subway and Minuteman.  If you get lost, just go around the block from the main street entrance of the store.
4. Lots of eating places abound near the store. HOWEVER, please kindly patronize the gaming store's snacks and refreshments as well.
5. Gaming store is near the train station (2 Blocks from Farmingdale LIRR Station).
6. Huge movie theater nearby for movie buffs.

LODGING OPTION (Revised!):  We're sorry --- plans have changed and the Villanovas will not be able to accommodate sleepovers at least for Friday night.  Keep in touch with ReyZen for their availability for Saturday night if you do have sleepover plans.  Apologies for any inconvenience.

The District Tourney is officially going to be at ReBirth Christian Store, FYI.

Yes, Max, we are officially cancelling the District Tourney.  We will inform one and all about the new date.  We can still re-schedule so that a Friday tourney date can once more back-to-back with the District.  Thanks for the post, Max.  I will also send an official E-mail to the group.

Tim, I was not able to pick Rob up because he had to re-sked his flight earlier.  We decided he should go straight to the city.  Thanks for the concern brother.

Yes it was best for Rob to travel straight from the airport to the city.  I guess we all know by now that CT and MA residents are banned from travel until otherwise informed.

We got 9-10 inches here southwest of Long Island.  Its sunny now as I type up this reply.  John M. was supposed to drive down from MA to Long Island.  Thank God he obeyed the 'decree' of his governor who he amusingly termed as an 'emperor'.

We pray for those who have been adversely affected by the storm.   Weather people forecast another one this coming Thursday.
