Welcome to the Official Redemption® Message Board!
5 + kings/priests makes FBTN mad OP. but im all for it.
I get far more playable characters from Kings/Priests than I do from Prophets and Unlimited. Plus it gives us some teal to pair with the teal cards we get in the card boxes.
No poll required. We will do the 5 boxes plus Kings and Priests. We will find plenty of good use for Unlimited and Prophets in the Garbage Sealed bonus event.
Having done that draft many, many times (both on Lackey and in person), that is a fantastic draft.
Booster Draft (Multi-player)Multi-player only. Players do not receive starter decks. Instead they each start with at least six boosterpacks (one each from available expansion sets). Starting with the first pack each player should take onecard they want from the pack and pass the remaining cards to the player next to them. Upon receiving thepack just passed to them they then pick another card they want for their deck and then pass that pack on.This goes on until all cards are drafted.NOTE: The host may supply 6 loose packs or tins from either Rock of Ages or Faith of our Fathers. Haveextra generic Lost Soul cards on hand for closed deck events.Booster Draft (Multi-Player only)Players build their decks from at least six expansion packs of cards. Each player is given one of each typeof booster from six expansion sets as determined by the host. These can include Unlimited Edition,Prophets, Apostles, Patriarchs, Kings, Angel Wars, Priests, Thesaurus Ex Preteritus, and Disciples.Another option is that the host may supply each player with a Faith of Our Fathers or Rock of Ages tin.Note: the host is allowed to give each player more than six booster packs but, six are what are normallyprovided.Players sit at their first-round multi-player table.-Each player is responsible for bringing 8 regular lost soul cards (no special abilities) to the table. Youwill need 7 lost soul cards if you play a 50 to 56 card deck. You will need 8 lost soul cards if you play a56 to 63 card deck. If you pull a lost soul card from a pack then you can substitute it for one that youbrought to the table. This is the only way you will be able to play a lost soul card that has a special ability.- Players look at the cards they drafted and have ten minutes to assemble a deck. Each player will have atleast 54 cards and are allowed to remove cards if they wish. Each player adds the appropriate number oflost soul cards to their deck to make it legal. When players finish building their decks (or when deckbuildingtime has expired), and after a referee has checked their deck to confirm that it is legal, playbegins.- Players must play a minimum of fifty cards in their decks.
Oh, and it will only be $20 to participate in the draft...
Edited original post. Since we work-shopped the Booster Draft specifics, shall we do the same with Sealed specifics? What are your ideas...
