Sweet.  Now that I know the schedule I think I will be looking for a teammate for teams.

To anyone who knows:

I'm probably going to attend Regionals, but I'm still figuring out in what capacity. (Unfortunately, Kayleigh's having her bachelorette party thrown for her that weekend, but at least that means I'm very much free to do whatever.) The Friday events don't seem too interesting except for the intriguing "Playgroup Playoffs". What is that, and what are Friday night lodging accommodations like? Depending on these, I'll play T1 Multi and Super Sealed on Friday, and probably bring a selection of non-Redemption games for anyone interested. If lodging is not so easy to come by and/or Playgroup Playoffs doesn't interest me, I'll come for just Saturday.

GAMING SCHEDULE:
June 22, 2012
09:00AM - Player registration & deck check
10:00AM - Session 1:  Type 2 2-Player OR Type 1 Multiplayer
01:30PM - Lunch Break
02:30PM - Session 2:  Type 2 Multiplayer OR Sealed Deck 2Player
06:00PM - Dinner Break
08:00PM - Optional exhibition event (Playgroup Playoffs)

June 23, 2012
09:00AM - Player registration & deck check
10:00AM - Session 3:  Type 1 2-Player OR Novice Sealed Deck
01:30PM - Lunch Break
02:30PM - Session 4:  Teams 2vs2 OR SPECIAL Booster Draft
06:00PM - Awards ceremony

I have a question about the above schedule.  I had not noticed the timing before, but it would be impossible to play in both a morning and afternoon session on the same day.  For example, the Type 2 2P session on the first day is only allotted 3.5 hours.  That's 2 rounds, which means only 4 players maximum.  States have more T2 players than that, so I'm trying to make sense of the schedule.

Basically, I've made all the plans to make the long trek to this tournament, but this schedule is VERY concerning.  Can we have some clarification as to what exactly is going on?

John has been successful planning his tournament skeds quite well.  The lunchbreak is usually arbitrary and available to those who can use the time to have that break.  I presume that T2 players should have up to 4.5 hrs to play and I am also sure that John will give a reasonable allowance for T2 players to have a quick break before the next tourney phase begins.

Be not concerned.  You are in good hands.

Peace and blessings.

*Insert obligatory Allstate joke here*
*Retort with obligatory joke about being protected from Mayhem*
*Unfunny and unrelated response complaining about change in "not in battle" so that Lampstand doesn't protect from Mayhem*
*Spiraling responses that lead to quarantine of thread*

There, saved us all some time.

Anywho, that's good to hear.  Sorry about the tone of my post, it is very hot here and I am cranky.  And tired.  And angry at the heat.
