Well, I'm officialy going to be hosting tourneys. This will be the thread that all the information is posted at. Please no unrelated topics.
Local:
Entry fee: $4 - snacks will be provided
January 3rd, 10AM - 4PM
390 Mamosa Avenue
Vista, California, 92083
Food places within 1 - 1/2 miles from the tournament: subway, starbucks, rubios, chinese place(forget the exact name), Albertacos(Mexican, amazing carne asada burritos!
), and Jack in the Box. There might be one other, I'm not sure.
There will be two events: type on multi, then lunch, then type one two player.
Please post here if you can make it. Also, if Bryon could come, that would be awesome.
Come on Bryon, you know you want to!
More importantly... do I get that little tag by my name that says "tournament host?" I really want one...
SUPER AWESOME! There will be two games for team multi at the end of the tourney for fun. If you post here with someone and reserve to be on a team, then I will reserve you a spot as a team. There will be two games total. Rules will be as follows, and prizes will be awarded to the winners.
Games are 30 min. There will be two rounds.
Play to 7 lost souls. Since each person can rescue one on their turn... 5 seems too little.
Players Do not share characters, artifacts, hands, decks, nor can they support each other's characters with enhancements.
Players DO share LOB, LOR and dominant playing. Each dom in the game can only be played once(except doubt, since it can be shuffled and stuff), and if one person has sog and the other person has nj, then they can play that together(if they are partners).
Each person can attack a TEAM, not a player. Either person of the team can defend any rescue attempt.
Typical deck building rules apply.
If the game is not over by 30 min, the team with the most ls wins. If it is a tie, then both teams get half points for it.
If you do not have a partner already picked out, then I will randomly assign one to you from the remaining players at the tournament.
I will be competing in this event since it is not official. Yay!
Have fun, and I hope to see everyone there.
