Airport/Bus/Train Station Carpools:
Contact us if you need pick up and drop off from travel-related destinations so we can plan carpooling arrangements in advance. You can also post a comment for related requests when you register for Nats 2018.

Free Church Lodging:
Separate rooms will be provided for male and female church crashers. PM Travis if you are lodging at the church as a family. Bring you own sleeping bag or blow-up bed. Lodging at the church begins Wednesday night (01 Aug) and officially ends Saturday at 5pm. However, if you need a place to crash Saturday night, please let us know in advance so we can properly accommodate you in the church clubroom, a home, or make you join other players who are staying at their hotels for Saturday night.

Tents:
The church pastor more than welcomes players who want to pitch tents on the church grounds. Note, however, that you will be dealing with Texas summer. Players can also camp out at Spring Creek Park (you must contact the park directly to inform them of your plan). You will be shut in the park from 10pm-6am for park security reasons.

RVs/Campers:
Contact Travis for specifics if you plan to park at the church. However, you can also avail of the amazing RV amenities at Spring Creek Park. Free parking and hookup but you need to book way in advance. Free shower facility right across the RV parking grounds. You will be shut in the park from 10pm-6am for park security reasons.

SHOWERING/HYGIENE:
Showering and proper hygiene are a daily requirement for all participants for obvious reasons.
For church crashers and campers, there is a free public shower facility CONVENIENTLY located at Spring Creek Park right across from the church. Please make every effort to plan a shower sked. We will also have 1 shower tent in the ladies and gents bathroom for convenient and ready use.

Phone/Gadget Charging POOL:
We request all who have USB charging devices with multi-ports as well as other types of charging stations + power strips, to share theirs. We are planning to set up a charging central pool (cooperative). Simply leave your contraptions plugged in at the charging central each morning when you arrive at the tourney (for the whole day) and bring back 'home' with you. We truly appreciate your effort.

Leisure Gaming Options:
Board games of every sort abound, thanks to the generosity of players who bring theirs to play with other Redemption family members. Let us know if you wish us to announce your after-event gaming sessions. If you are bringing video games and need TV sets, you must let us know in advance so that you will know if we have enough units for you. All video games will be set up in a separate room. Once again, we suggest you take home your units after each tourney day. Thanks for sharing.

We will likely be doing breakfast tacos, sausage with a pancake on a stick, and kolaches along with fresh fruit, granola bars, and juice/milk/coffee/water to drink for breakfast. Will church lodging be available Saturday night? If we end up flying down it looks like heading home Sunday morning will be cheaper, but if we need to be out after we're done on Saturday then that won't work.

Would there be people available down in Texas to drive from the nearby airport to the church before the tournament and back when the tournament is over? I might be able to fly down and back, but I would not be able to rent a car over the weekend. I also can't drive by myself due to not having a license. Please PM me if you might be willing to help out, or if you can inform me of other options!

Looking for a ride from the air port around 3:00pm Wednesday. Will need a ride back as well. Anyone willing or able?

My flight would leave Sunday at 7am. I am willing to go the air port Saturday evening and wait it out or if someone would take me in the morning that would be great

I'm also looking for a ride from the airport around 3:00pm Wednesday. My wife and I get in within 5 minutes or so of Josiah's flight. Your Texas person could wait around and pick up 3 people, so you don't need to send another car for the 2 of us! I'll send the details later to you !

Travis and I will be coordinating all airport/bus/train/etc pick ups. I have already contacted those who need earlier pick ups. Expect an SUV to pick you up (I might use the church bus if more than 4 will be picked up at a time). Xonathan and the rest of you who I have asked for contact details: You have nothing to worry about. I may also end up driving the church bus for the late pick up from the airport especially if I need Travis to rest Wednesday night in prep for the long long long tourney weekend.

Almost certain it is since it is a Houston suburb. At past Nats, players have supported each other thru minimal donations for short trip services using other players' driving services instead of hiring Uber drivers. Most players doing the favor rarely charge anything, perhaps just trade for cards.
