Nationals from my perspective.

At the beginning of the year I thought disciples were really cool but since then I started to think that TGT was better. So I played different versions of TGT in almost all of my decks. So I played Red/Tomb at Nats after much considering playing straight white.

T1 2P

Round 1 Kim Carlson
5-3

I was a little worried going into this game playin with a deck I just switched to. On opening draw I drew all 3 of my red enhancements but no red hero and from the start was thinking this deck was the wrong decision. She went first and started coming at me with genesis heroes I had Uzzah and CM in my hand but I used them in two turns so my Auto blocks were running out early. She was still blocking me and I had to give freebies.
But eventually I got TGT to start working and SoG and NJ game over.

Round 2 Jeremiah Thiessen
5-2

This game went very quick mainly cause I got FF and Mustering first turn and heros to play them on followed by Peter and 4 DC. TGT walked through most of the game and he never really had an answer.

Round 3 Levi Peterson
5-1

This game was also extremely fast I got a FTM and afterwords he never drew a character so my heros walked in and he never attacked so he had to burn SoG w/o NJ but I drew HT next turn to get a soul out and I had SoG and NJ to finish  the game.

Round 4 Josh Knitt
5-2?

I don't remember much about this game his red offense didn't do much against my stalling D. And again my deck drew fast. So this game was over fairly quickly.

Round 5 John Early
5-4

This game was one of the toughest I had played all day. Even though I had a FTM it had worked better for him. He got SoG, NJ, and GoYS. He had some issues getting passed my Garrison on the first few turns but after that he got all freebies. I decided to attack him with my Centurions first couple turns even though I had no enhancements to play on them. He was giving me freebies about as much as I was giving him. But the game came down to when he had no souls and I made a BC with Susy and he blocked with SB and he drew souls I AoTL SB and it gave me 3. On his turn He abused TGT to get 4. On my turn I drew just about 12 cards from my set-asides and 4 DC and SoG was the last card to draw. It was a great game.

Round 6 Conner Magras
5-4

We were the last that had won all are games. He was playing disciples which I hadn't seen any of to this point. He drew very very fast and my offense wasn't speedy at all.
I can't remember what happened in mid game but in ended pretty crazily. He had no souls in his territory and I only had 1. I had SoG and NJ in my hand but then I looked and I had HT in my hand which I had forgot about so I got out a soul to play the combo on.

Round 7 Martin Miller
5-1

I had played Martin the day before in Iron Man and he beat me pretty handily. So I was pretty worried. The game was over pretty much over with my FTM. He only drew 2 Heroes and I only had a female soul for him to rescue for a few turns which FBTNB can't really get to. The game didn't last very long and I got SoG and NJ early so that was it.

Round 8 Andrew Wester (and his Trololol)
3-5

Ive heard about Wraiths deck many a time. And I wasn't very confident going in to the game. I only knew I had a chance if I got early souls and I could use FioHP to its full potential. First turn I made ra played angel and got 1. Next turn to start using FioHP converted my garrison to red then played ASP. And I got shut out every time I played it. He used practically every battle extender possible and I was shut out each time. I made a huge mistake but forgetting to shuffle my heroes in with my Chariot then next turn he took his lampy down and DoNd my Chariot. So at that point Peter was my only hope I had nothing to play on him but I tried lol. Being I had nothing to stop WS he won easily.

Round 9 Tim Maly

Even with my loss to Westy I was in the top seat still oddly enough. I got to go first with mayhem in my hand but before I ended my turn Tim layed his mayhem down. This game went back and forth until he finally got his third and I thought it was over then but he didn't play the Big 2 so I got another turn. On my turn I had SoG and NJ I played it on the 2-liner I had a tap on and another random soul which gave me four. The shuffler was out so I play Benny so he couldn't shuffle the souls in  so I walked in for #5.

Round 10 Isabelle Reuter

I had been told that I was playin MKC and when the pairings came up I was in the 3rd seat playing Belle Reuter which was an absolutely awesome RLK. I was really nervous going into this game mainly cause if I were to win I won Nats. I was feeling confident because I was drawing very fast and was given some freebies. Although I forgot to play benedictus after my last rescue so she got to give me the shuffler. I had 3 souls and SoG and NJ but no souls rescue. Luckily on my next turn I drew the 2-liner.

I might post my TEAMS experiance later...

According to the spreadsheet, your 3rd round opponent was Levi Petersen and your 6th round opponent was Connor Magras.

Congrats on winning and props for using a different twist on TGT.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?
