I would definitely support it being in Ohio. After having to miss it last year in MN I'd love if Nats was within driving/busing distance again!

We will be putting in for Nationals in Ohio this year, just north of Cincinnati.
How big is the Ohio playgroup?
Can anyone attend Nats or do you have to be in the rankings? I haven't played in over 2 years.
...since it would be closer for SE players (GA, FL, TN, AL).

But maybe the biggest play groups are the ones that are not very large.

When was the last time that it was in flordia?
Quote from: LukeChips on February 14, 2015, 08:07:10 AMWhen was the last time that it was in flordia?Nationals have never been in Florida. The two closest were New Orleans (2004) and Tennessee (2012), both of which are over 9 hours away from Central Florida. With that said, though, I have already expressed that a Florida Nationals would be rough for everyone else in the country, since we are only "centrally located" if you live on a ship. To my west is the Gulf of Mexico, to my east is the Atlantic Ocean, and to my south is the Caribbean Sea. Places like Ohio make more sense since they are bordered by several different states.
Quote from: EmJayBee83 on February 12, 2015, 05:42:49 AMThe last time Nats was in Ohio, five of us took a (mega) bus round trip road trip from Minneapolis. We had a grand and glorious time. This sounds like a GREAT idea. I'd like to get in on that if Nats returns to OH.

I went to florida last year, and it was awesome. However flordia gets super hot in the summer, and nats is in the summer, so that might not be the best idea. Bu that's just my opinion.
