I'm just saying it'a not a scientific poll, I have no idea if Cali was/is/will be lucky, or who the PTB will pick for next year. It won't be Elkhart... The Redemption Desert

You're on a roll today Stamp.  This would've also made the favorite quotes list if there was a bit more context given so that it will make sense in the future :)

I forget, around what month is the location usually announced?  My dad might give me some of his airline points so I could go to Natz for my birthday but the closer it is to the date, the more points he has to use.

Rob decides where and when.  That being said, it usually happens in late July or very early August.

With the way my finances are (especially during summer) I don't think I'll be able to afford going unless it's within a couple hours driving distance of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

STAMP may be on to something here. Add to the list:

Pittsburgh Penguins as Stanley Cup Champions
North Carolina Tarheels as NCAA basketball Champions

and Jimmy Johnson about to wrap up another NASCAR title.

I guess that means the Florida Gators are going to win the NCAA football championship. Rats!

*sad face*

Well, if a couple could be extended to 5 or 6, then the Twin Cities would be perfect for you too!

5 or 6 would be fine assuming I could find somewhere cheap to stay overnight (nationals is over several days usually, right?) as I wouldn't want to drive 10 hours each day of the tourney.

At 2005 Nats in Minneapolis you could sleep at the church for zero to minimal cost (I would assume some gave offerings to the church).
