My Nationals Report

Well, not really.  I didn't do anything worthy of a report.   :D  But I do want to thank a lot of people:

Brandon - Your laugh during Type NW was infectious.  I think everyone will remember you were the one preventing Gabe from completing a clean sweep.
Gabe - I gotta know.  Was that your "A" game?  If so, I'm headed for the senior tour.   ;)
Kevin - It was Derrick Schaefer.
Ron - Glad I could give you the good news Friday about Washburn.
Kramer family - Thank you for all your help in having the information everyone needed when they couldn't find Mike and Bryon.
Kenny and Jeff - We made those lunchtime trips to Baja Fresh/Jamba Juice and got back in time.
John/RDT - Thanks for cheering me up.   :)
Eric - Thanks for cheering me up, too.  :)  But seriously, I think I was just too tired to deal with that one game.
John M - Again, I apologize that my deck gave you such a meek effort.  That one goes to the archives.
Tyler - Thanks for reminding me that Hidden Treasures can be used to discard from opponent's deck.  Of course, I liked it better when you used it against Gabe and not me.
Kirk - Those were some cool looking glasses.  Let me know when you and Ben perfect that 500 card deck.
Justin - Now that we know Hidden Treasures activates after the blocker is chosen, you'll have to give prophets a try.   ;)
Reno boys - Glad you made it!  We'll have to throw 777Godspeed a party for helping make it happen.  And I suppose I'll have to come to Reno next year to defend my booster draft title.
Clinton/Kevin/Chris - Keep that Fresno group growing.
Jonathan - Hope you get that group started in Salem.
Martin - "One small step for man; one giant leap over that table!"   :o
Connor - You may have denied me a win in booster draft, but that was the sweetest play by a new TexP card!  You rock!
Eric - Thank you for showing me the new cards Wednesday.  (Don't worry, I still won't tell your dad.)
Luke - I can't believe your mom said to skip your shower.
Leeza - I really did try to let you win the lost soul in our game.  I just used the wrong card.  Hope you liked your TexP cards.
Katya - Aren't you happy I talked you into saving a lost soul from Josh?
Ben - Anewbadoobadoo!!   ;D
Josh - Great job representing the NW!
TJ - I'm sorry I didn't take a picture.  I was just too busy being proud of you when you received your trophy.
Al - How do we keep up with these youngens?
Roy - Someone from New York might be tempted to say, "I did it my way."  But I was there and you continue to do it His Way.   :amen:
Mike Wolfe and Bryon Hake - aka "The Mike and Bryon Show" was simply, "FANTASTIC!"  Great job, guys!
Chris Bany - The driving force to getting me started hosting tournaments had the starting and scoring of tournament games humming like a well-oiled machine.

Rob Anderson - Thank you for creating a tool that I have used to meet so many wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ!

And to all the others I met and chatted with, thank you for making Nats a memorable experience.   :)

Ah, and most importantly, thank you all for not redeeming any demons (as far as I know  )!

Oh... woops... I gave my opponent's red dragon to him...  :-*
As a national champion, I support ReyZen deck pouches.

Stamp: It was great meeting you at Nationals (and everyone else I had the pleasure of meeting). Kevin says he wants to get up to Oregon someday to play your group. Also, as we were at Carl's Jr. today playing Redemption, we saw your son! I guess he's down here visiting family. Small world. :D

Also, we will definitely grow Redemption here in Fresno. In a couple of months I will be hosting my first tournament here. Hopefully we can use it to get the word out about Redemption.
