Type II TEAMS (Late Friday evening fun event) Proposed Rules

1) Standard T2 deck building rules apply.

2) Each team may present up to two decks (one per team member) to be checked.

3) At the start of each round, each team chooses one deck to use during the game.

4) The Lost Souls in the deck are divided equally between the two team members.*

5) The two team members then divvy up the remaining cards in any amounts or manner they desire.**

6) Except as noted below the game is played using standard TEAMS rules.

7) Standard T2 rule options (e.g., experience credit, rescuer's choice) are in effect.

8 ) The time limit is 1 1/2 hours (of play).

9) For SA (and Identifiers) that activate before a blocker is presented, the word "opponent" and "opponent's" refer to the player against whom the initial rescue attempt is being made. This identification remains in effect until a blocker is presented.***

*For decks with an odd number of lost souls, the team members may decide betwixt themselves how to distribute the odd soul out.

**Yes, one player can hold half the lost souls and no other cards if the team so desires.

***Player A, with six cards in his hand makes a rescue attempt with Parmenas against player B who has eight cards in his hand. Player A may draw two cards even if player B passes the block to player D who has three cards in his hand.

This rule, imo, just screams break me. I think everyone remembers the lack of site cap last year. I think an equal distribution of cards would be best.

I think T2 Teams should have the same format as T1 Teams: Both players in a team build decks that match the regular T2 deck building rules, including all Lost Souls (with a shared LoB).

Are those definitely the rules for T2 Teams then? I might drop out if so.

I also vie for half-splitting of decks. A doms + Zebulun deck could break the game. I might even suggest a rule that all good cards must go in one team member's deck and all evil cards must go in the other's (although that might not be as fun, since you would basically have to do the same decks every game, whereas the current rules could allow the teams to switch things up every game).

One question: What happens when a DoU is played? Can Lost Souls redistribute? Should each player just keep his own Lost Souls in his territory to be safe?

It sounds like deck discard is mad broken as well.
