And you expect her to get any sleep why? ;) C'mon, this tourney is almost as big as Natz. It only happens once!

Speaking of.....What does our current count of people that are "going" to show Everytribe???

more than at the last nationals. possibly.
seriously, it'll probably be around 30ish... which would be bigger then the biggest regionals last year.

Um Uh? Good try, but we pulled in close to 60 at NC regionals last year, you were there. Natz had 90+. 30 is a decent guestimate.

1) Allow players to keep three separate draft piles--one each for good, neutral, and evil. At the end of every pack, the players could count their piles.
I would go with this option.
Seconded.

Not sure yet. Probably around 30. Matt is hoping for 33 so we have to play 6 rounds. Not a big tournament but big for Type 2.

We pulled 60+ at the MN State tournament.  We had over 70-some at the NC Regional. I'm not certain any other region broke 40 last year. Natz was officially clocked at 85, with 26 playing T2-2P.

Thirty-three is a decent guesstimate. That would put this tournament as the third largest T2-2P tournament ever. Remember, "Six rounds because we have to."

Do you actually have to have 33 playing T2, or could I help by bringing my siblings? :)

That's a tough question. On one hand, I'm sure the tournament guide says "players." On the other hand, I once built a deck for JSB23* for this tournament and he counted--so they don't really need to know all that much about playing.  ;)

*One year at the MN T2 I was playing the second to last round with a chance to getting into fourth place going into the final round (which would have given me a decent shot at ending up second). I met up with JSB23 armed with the deck I built for him. Long story short, he got an incredible draw and it ended up crushing 7-1.  True story. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I will be bringing 13 type 2 decks to the tourney. Everyone of them has all of the dominants and are in card protectors and have been used by our group and are very very competitive. If there are any type 1 players that would like to try type 2 at the tourney but don't want to build a deck, I will be very happy to let them select one of the 13, even my tribal elders deck that someone suggested that I use Ehud to play RTC  ??? , to make it better. (don't ask see thread).

I am also sure that if they select one of them Friday night, by Saturday they will have had plenty of chances to have one of the master Jedis  :kenobi: from MN to tweak to be major league level or one of the Sythes :maul: from Nebraska.  ;)

*legal disclaimer- Any losses which occur using a Count deck is solely the error of the operator. Any claims of the deck creator being an idiot makes the user more of one. Any mental disorders brought on by using one of these decks are purely coincendental and can be remedied by seeking counsel from Dr. EmJayBee.

Now that we're a family, I can be the ulll-timate DAD.

If I do have a practice on Saturday morning, then yes, I will be sleeping. If not, well then, we'll see. I haven't pulled an all-nighter in a long time and it's probably about time I did another.

Jordan, you should definitely convince Joelle to come. Then we can have our own party in the sleeping room and talk about boys all night. :D Well, for her I suppose it would be one boy...but he'd be kinda boring to talk about all night. :P

Last year this T2 tournament was after an all-nighter with Wraith.  I had never stayed up for 24 hours before, and all at once I went about 40 hours straight.  Good times, good times. :)

I hope I can make it this year!  Haven't played in quite awhile.  :-\

hahahaha, I forgot about that. that was so epically exhausting... I'm thinking we should go up on Friday though. build a T2 deck sometime, we need to play 2 player when Scott comes back from Haiti.

Just so everybody doesn't get the wrong idea. You will be able to sleep if you want to. Their will be quiet sleeping rooms.(well maybe a little snoring). Some people actually do get a good night sleep.

We do have 2 people flying in so far and I imagine they will sleep on the plane and not at the tournament. Should be some great games this year. Can't wait to check in the decks and see what people are playing.

Hey,

...or one of the Sythes :maul: from Nebraska.  ;)

Gil will not be making the trip with me this year.  So it seems this Sith is in need of a new apprentice...or would that be a new master.

Did you watch the same Episode 3 that I watched?  As I remember it Anakin was the one that killed the RLKs (er...RLJs).

I think he was referring to Episode 1, where Anakin was an RLK.

pretty sure it was Episode 6. when Anakin (the apprentice of the Sith Emperor) was pwned by an RLK
on a side note, why is that "an" instead of "a" ?

instaposted...

RDT, owned by an RLK... interesting. would that be a 1-5 game, or a 4-5 game?

If it were "a" it would be improper grammar >:c.
