If I look into Greyhound, which stations in MN should I look into?
Hmmm I might be able to somehow get a ride to KC. Do you know when you are leaving from KC?If I look into Greyhound, which stations in MN should I look into?Bill, thanks for your generosity, but I think I would have needed to buy a ticket a few months out coupled with that to make it feasible.Kirk
Quick question for all y'all planning on spending the night prior to the tournament at the church...There are a number of options for the evening. Included among these are1) A separate local for TEAMS. Since it is past the filing deadline, this would need to be one of the impromptu locals we have heard so much about. The cost would be free.2) T2-Sealed deck. Each player would get two copies of the same starter deck, a smattering of commons/uncommons in the appropriate brigades to balance good/evil and their choice of FoOF/RoA tin. This would end up costing about $14.3) T2-Booster. Each player would get two FoOF/RoA tins and a TexP pack, This would end up costing about $18.4) Free gaming time. At minimum we will have Dominion, Race for the Galaxy, Risk, Memoir '44, Munchkins, Family Business, etc. available to play in addition to Redemption. If anyone would like a Dominion tournament, I can set one up. In any event gaming would be free (unless wagering breaks out).5) Sleep. Judging from my performance at this tournament the past couple of years, this is overrated.Respond here or PM me.
Also, if we did do the T2 Booster, would we actually be drafting in the traditional style, or would we just open all the packs and build a deck directly? I'm thinking that it might be difficult to get a decent balance of good/evil if they were drafted.
hmm, a type 2 booster sounds fun...but just playing other games sounds good too...
1) Allow players to keep three separate draft piles--one each for good, neutral, and evil. At the end of every pack, the players could count their piles.

Also, would all of the tins be random, or would you possibly get two tins with corresponding colors (for example, the FooF Judges tin and the RoA Luke/John tin).
That makes sense. So would ALL T2 deck building rules still apply? I don't foresee anyone getting more than three of the same artifact, LS, fortress, etc. but it's possible. Obviously good and evil should be balanced, but would the card type limits be in effect as well?

Not liking the new CEO at all.

I would go with the impromptu teams local, though the other options sound fun as well (except number 5). I'm currently planning on staying Friday night, but I might have to talk about that with m'lady. I might be able to convince her to come, but that's doubtful.
