It's that time again. I am looking to host a tournament in October and am trying to find dates that work for us all. We cannot have it on October 8th and I believe the facility is off limits on October 22. So that leave us with the 15th and 29th. I am leaning towards October 29th. I would also like input for categories and type of tournament(District or Local). Thanks guys!

Bah I was hoping for the 8th or the 22nd...I have graduate committee work on the 29th and classes on the 15th...is there any chance we could have the October tourney at a different venue? If not, I guess I'll just catch up at the November tournament ...

My vote is for Oct. 15th because thats when my fall break is occurring. Sorry about the confusion the other day! There was talk but no answer. lol

I'm cool with whatever weekend is chosen just let me know when thing are finalized so i can make sure i'm not working that weekend ^_^

actually my church might be available on the 22nd. We were thinking of seeing if there was interest for a local tournament in the first couple weeks of November, but stuff's going on at the church those dates. If there was enough interest, we might be able to have one there on the 22nd, since I don't see anything on the church's calender for that date, but there would probably be problems with getting the application sent in 6 weeks before the date, like it says to on the application.

We can handle the application in time, or we can use an impromptu local option, that shouldn't be a problem, check if we can get it and I'll let Shawn know. Thanks!

I should know sometime tomorrow whether we can get the church or not. My guess right now is a tentative most likely.

The lobby, Good Shepherd Room, and Sanctuary are not available. However, you could use the double rooms at the side entrance of the building. Would this be enough room, or is okay to use multiple rooms? I might could also see about getting the Teen Suite if you wanted a third room."

This is what I have been told in terms of availability at the church, while it would have been preferable to be able to have the tournament in the sanctuary, (simply because it has the most space of anywhere in the church) we could have these couple of rooms (and possible the teen room) to use.

I believe we are going to make a go of trying to host the tournament at Drrek's church. I will help him fill out the form, Brad would you be willing to pass it along to Rob? HE might be willing to make an exception for the time because we have a new Host. (Yay!) If not we will go from there.

Done and done:

Booster will be 20.00 for RoA/FooF 2011, Disciples or TeP, and either Kings or Pats depending on the tin

I will also have all of my stock available for purchase. Thanks for being willing to work around my schedule. Ready to get this season started!

My pastor sent me an email update, and we have the rooms but he still needs a little more information.

"Here's the update: All 3 of the double rooms in the back are available, and I believe you're set to use them that day.

The main things to work out right away, other than what rooms you are going to use, is what are the times (beginning and end) that you will need the building.

Also, can you tell us what the make-up of the group will be? How many adults? How many teens? Rough estimates would be fine."
