Tentative Order of events:
PHASE 1:
Type 1 2-Player / Type 2 Two-Player
PHASE 2:
Type 3 Multi-player (UNOFFICIAL CATEGORY)
This is the first tournament to test/run Type 3, however the Type 3 forum is down for the moment. I will post this in that forum and link to the rule set as soon as it is available. A quick summary of Type 3:
- It is a multiplayer category
- Deck must contain an equal number of Good and Evil Cards
- Deck must be between 60 and 63 cards
- If deck falls below 60 it is no longer legal for tournament play.
If Redoubter comes along he might be able to fill in more blanks than I can think of at the moment. If you have any questions, shoot me a PM. Also please try to give me an RSVP soon so I can get a head count.

Just a note on Type 3, the computer that the site is on (http://typethree.game-host.org (http://typethree.game-host.org)) got taken down by the storm, and a new power supply...is in New Jersey. It is down for at least the rest of the weekend. If you do want an account on that site, please PM me. I had to disable registration because of the dozen or so spam accounts daily (which I assume belong to DYN DNS 'encouraging' me to get a non-free host name), but all of it is viewable without a log-in...well, once it's back up ;)
However, Shawn described it well. We made a change to the deck size to accommodate the problem caused by Plot, and if you rip one you follow standard T2 rules for maintaining good-evil balance (remove a good card, must still be a legal size). Additional discussions include side boards, replacements for Plot only, and more. The current solution is being tested, and if you have input we'd love to hear from you.
In addition: There is a modified ranking system this year for Type 3 that WILL result in prizes from me and trophies to the top 3 at the end of the year. Basically, you take your position in the rankings for the tournament and invert it, meaning you ALWAYS get T3RS (Type 3 Ranking System) points, but you get more based on how many people you beat.
This is all on the Type 3 site, and viewable again when it comes back online.
