...since NJ had its state tournament early, and I freakishly managed to outlast some kids (plus a couple of older players) to win Booster Draft, my name has temporarily and almost accidentally been listed on the main page of Cactus as the current RNRS points leader in Booster Draft. This is truly an embarrassment for Cactus and for the Redemption world, and I assure you that as soon as results come in from other states I will be rightly bumped back into the obscurity I so richly deserve.(I did print out the page to frame it, though, since this is a genuinely once-in-a-lifetime event for me.)Once again, I beg the forgiveness of the Redemption community, and promise never to do it again. (Since next time the killer BD players in the region will smack me down hard.)
I'm disappointed. You're supposed to take the worst cards in the pack if they're fun. Seriously, atleast 50% of my recent booster drafts I've drafted Book of the Wars. That is the most fun card ever.
Not to worry Steve. Things have returned to normal. You were bumped today when I received CT State results. It was fun to see you up there as a leader for a few days and I am pleased to say that you did not disappoint me. I was confident you would make some public comment about the rankings. It was just too good for you to pass on.

Good job having the states a week before I got into Redemption...
I will be going to Nationals, I just don't plan on doing very well.
If I plan to fail, and succeed, what have I done?
That's for my Master's graduation (our director likes Hawaiian shirts). More to the point, wrong side of the planet.
