The ANB's don't come out unless needed. And I believe he wasn't getting great draws that game, hence the (7-1?) loss. But yeah it is rare that your opponent gets to have cards down, unless you're Eric Largent... stupid Syrians...

Yeah the draw I had against Kirk was not normal. No ANB or one way to stop capn early on, which is saying a lot coming forom my deck. It has 5 Mid attacks, 3 Nebby's Pride, Unknown Nations, and big guys/banding.

Yea Tyler did had a bad defensive draw early.  By the time CotH got 4 freebies it was too late.  It didn't matter if he drew big numbers then, as I used Jacob + RTC twice and AotL to end the game quickly.

SitC is not unstoppable. I played Daniel Whitten at SE Regionals two years ago. He set up the combo perfectly (got all the cards out of my hand, killed all the Good Dominants in my deck, and set up three or four SitC) and I still won.
