I'm putting this up one more time as I try to prepare my budget. I apologize to those who were hoping to attend my tournaments this season. My new job and current finances have handcuffed me a bit. I am hoping to squeeze in a few locals, although a couple may have to be impromptu because summer is almost here. I cannot guarantee any Districts if I am hosting one of the larger tournaments.
So, I need to know if anyone is planning on hosting Florida States or Southeast Regionals this year. Central Florida has hosted both for each of the last two years. I am prepared to do them again, but if someone else would like to take the lead, then I will defer out of fairness. I would be looking at trying to do Florida States in early July and Southeast Regionals in late July. I would like time to get the locals in for May and June. I could bump the States up to late June possibly. I would like to hold one or the other over the weekend following July 4th, since that is my only summer holiday. My new Virtual School position is year-round.
Please post here or PM me your intentions, as well as possible dates that are good (or awful) for these tournaments. I make no guarantees other than I will do my best to get it done.
