Title: Email/Fax
Post by: SomeKittens on December 18, 2010, 02:09:41 PM
I've got an application for a tournament, but no fax machine.  Would it be possible to scan it in to a computer, and email that?  (It's a district, so no worries about State, etc)

Not sure, I've always sent applications in via regular mail.

I agree that this would be a wonderful option.

Bump/Update.  Rob let me do it, but I'm not sure if that's official, or I'm just special.

Also: watch the handwriting.

You're just special. I tried it and Rob just laughed at me.  ;)

Also: watch the handwriting.

I don't own a Tablet PC, so this will not be a problem for me.

Yes, you may scan and e-mail if you are paying with credit card.  Send as a PDF file to cactusrob@frontier.com
Note:  You may also send your tournament fee payment via Paypal to the above e-mail address.  If you do this please send the Paypal payment on the same day that you e-mail the application.

We should somehow sticky Rob's quote from this thread. I also think we should add the other quotes pertinent to hosting. I remember Rob saying something about the number of categories per type of tournament, but that Type 1 2-player and Type 2 2-player were required for States & higher. Do I remember that correctly?
