Title: East Central Regional Results
Post by: Captain Kirk on July 01, 2010, 01:32:52 PM
Others will have to help fill in some blanks, but I figured others who missed the tournament would appreciate seeing the results.

I think we had about 15 players from Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Ohio, and Kentucky.  We played alot of Redemption and got little sleep.  Doing round robin sealed is difficult.  It was funny to play against Tyler in Booster and Sealed at the exact same time; we kept alternating which turn we were playing.

T2 2p:
1st - Tyler Stevens
2nd - Eric Largent
3rd - Andrew Dotson

T2 Multi:
1st - Tyler Stevens
2nd - Eric Largent
3rd - Kirk Dennison

T1 2p:
1st - Clift Crysel
2nd - Mark Underwood
3rd - Kirk Dennison

T1 Multi:
1st - Mark Underwood
2nd - Daniel Fachman
3rd - Chris Fachman

Sealed:
1st - Tyler Stevens
2nd - Kirk Dennison
3rd - Jonathan Pequinot

Booster Draft:
1st - Kirk Dennison/Mark Underwood
3rd - 4 way tie

I played every category except for that one.... but I don't think we need to go into why I don't play T1 Multi here.  ;)

I think 2nd and 3rd in T1-mp went to Chris and Robert Fachman.

I also wrote up a tourney report for anyone who's interested.  It can be found here. (http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/index.php?topic=20887.msg344667#msg344667)

Overall it was a great tournament, and all my guys really enjoyed themselves.  Congrats to Crashfach for his first time hosting a major tourney.  I'm sure that there will be many more to come.

It was stated in the other thread that GA swept almost all the EC Regional.  Actually I thought that there was a pretty good spread of the states represented there.

       1st  2nd  3rd
GA -  4     2     0
OH -  1     2     3
KY -  2     1     0
TN -  0     1     2

Actually, let me update that state representation.  ;)  I just assumed it was an understood from my first post that I was referencing states represented by everyone else.  Now you can see how the SE stole all the points...  ;)

       1st  2nd  3rd
GA -  4     2     1
FL -  1     1     2
KY -  2     1     0
TN -  0     1     1
OH -  0     0    1

Did I remember right that your name is Andrew Dotson?

Does anyone know about the order the Fachman brothers placed in T1-mp?
