December 28th District Tournament in Central Florida

whiteandgold7 will hopefully post more about this soon, but I wanted to send out a notice for this tournament, since it will be held at my house. Those of you who have attended Central Florida tournaments in the past few years have been to my house before. Please bring money for food as usual.

This will be a District Tournament, and will include Type 2 since Steven is hosting. In fact, y'all will get to see my mad skillz this time around, since I usually don't play in my own tournaments, but this one isn't mine;D

I will not play Type 2, so don't ask. I'm looking forward to traditional Booster Draft, and I'm sure I can put together a Type 1 deck. I'll probably bring out my supremely powerful Absalom's Soldiers deck, so beware.  :maul:

Post or PM if you plan to attend and have not already informed whiteandgold7 (Steven). For MapQuest, use 17332 Woodcrest Way, Clermont, FL 34714 if you want to find out how far away I am.

More info coming soon!

What if I decided to make the trip? Then would you consider it?  ;) I guess it probably won't happen, but it's nice to think about this time of year.

Of course, it is my goal to someday make it to (another) Florida tournament (haven't done that since the 2004 FL state tournament was at the beginning of our family Disney World vacation).

I always make exceptions for VIPs.  ;)

Remember that if you need a place to stay, I have a guest room with a private bath. I can also help with airport transfers. I would be more than happy to schedule an impromptu tournament.  ;D

-------------------------------------

I would like to get a head count for this coming tournament. If you are planning to attend the December 28th District Tournament at my house, please PM or post here. We will be starting deck checks at 9am. Hopefully whiteandgold7 can put up a tournament schedule with categories soon. We will likely double up categories, so Type 1 will run at the same time as Type 2. If you plan to play Booster Draft, please let us know as soon as possible.

Remember to bring money for food. Hungry Howie's has large 1-topping pizzas for $6, which includes 8 slices of sheer bliss, especially with your free choice of flavored crust. I highly recommend the garlic butter or Cajun spice crusts.  ;D

I shall be there, silly hats and all. I will also be playing BD with a passion. I missed these more than I can say.
Not quite a ghost...but not quite not.

Type 1 2 player running first with Type 2 2 player running opposite it, then Type 1 multi running with Type 2 multi running opposite it, and then Booster Draft to follow, there should be break times for food, and depending upon type 2 participation and timing they may actually run as separate categories allowing some to play in all 5 categories if time allows.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Steven
