Could the south rise?

I have been looking at some of our tournament info and noticed that there are not many southern tourney's being done (correct if I have missed something huge). Was wondering what it would take to try and get a southern, preferably southeastern tournament put together? Obviously it would take lots of time to put together, but would love to hear some thoughts on this.

Done and done. I definitely think it would be something to strive towards. Give those northerners a run for their money  ;)

There are lots of Florida Players that would love a huge (preferrably Nats) tourny in Orlando! People could also use this as a vacation for whoever would want to go to Disney ot soemthing.

As long as YMT can get a hold of a venue bigger than his house, I would totally be in support of Orlando Nationals 2012.  :)

As long as we could do Birmingham 2013  ;). We in the 'deep south' need a little true southern feel. Or we could always do ATL lol.

While we were driving back, we saw the place where they do the Holy Land experience. There is a huge colliseum. That would be an awesome place to hold it (if possible). (idea courtesy of JonDelaRosa.)

Except that everyone would have to pay the additional $40 to get into the park....

I was trying to get a location on Disney property. I already have access to Mickey's Retreat, but they require catering.

Well we would have a church to host in Birmingham for free. One of the perks of being on staff, but I understand if we wanted to Florida or somewhere down there first.

I think it's a great idea! I would totally spend a little money to go to a tourney in Orlando!
