Or as Fresno said, people just like the music and don't care about the lyrics.
People don't listen to Christian music when they are able to listen to infinitely better secular music.

That's not true at all. There are a number of Christian bands accepted in the mainstream (i.e. Underoath). Non-Christians tend to be more flexible about listening to lyrics with Christian meaning than Christians are about listening to bands with offensive lyrics.

Demon Hunter, Flyleaf and Switchfoot are probably the most famous in the secular world.

See, the Devil Wears Prada and Underoath aren't CCM bands though, they're openly Christian bands with a secular market.

CCM? (I'm tired soits probably obvious)

Contemporary Christian Music.

But that wasn't what the discussion was about. The discussion was about Christian bands (or bands with a Christian message). CCM was never even brought up.

Actually, the discussion was the possibility of a concert at 2010 Nationals.

I had a weird dream that some kid on the boards was able to get Attack Attack! to play. That'd be horrible.

Skillet has enjoyed mainstream success for some time now.  POD has been featured in a number of movie soundtracks.  Switchfoot occupies like half the Walk to Remember soundtrack.  Come on, I know you're more up to speed than this.

More hilarious than that is this one...

That is straight up amazing! I can't get over how accurate it is, there has to be thousands of songs out there that have that exact same breakdown, haha.

I'm in a christian metalcore band called All of the Above.. We're more or less just starting out, but we're pretty decent. There's a video of us performing our first two songs after 3 practices and before we got  a bassist on my facebook, myspace, and on youtube. www.myspace.com/princeofthisgame www.youtube.com/theprinceofthisgame the video is called 'all of the above's first performance.' (on youtube, search for 'all of the above iowa' if you don't find it right away.)  The other band members don't play Redemption, but would love to play a set if its within a few hours drive.

Don't know if this was mentioned before, but if you want a concert at a Redemption tourney, you need to have Apologetix! (Going to my 5th concert in two weeks.)

+1 I second this! I've never been to a show, but I hear they're awesome. I have all their CD's expect for their last one, and I haven't yet pre-ordered their new one.
