Cactus Game Design Message Boards

Me am RTSmaniac were discussing who was going to go to nationals and what categories we were going to play and with what. Type 1 seems to have some good competition, but type 2 seemed less competitive. So who all is play type 2? Also for the schedule I can see Thursday being uneventful for people who do not want to play booster cause they will already be playing sealed, and because the other categories are both the multiplayers. So with that being said, ill be playing both type 2 categories and sealed, what about you?

T2 multiplayer is actually a lot more fun than most other categories in my opinion. Sadly I'm not sure to go to Nats this year but that is probably what I'd play as well unless I could find a teammate for Teams who'd be able to change my mind from Sealed which is unlikely.

Here's my guesses for participation in each event at Nats next week:

Thursday: Booster (40), T1-mp (30), T2-mp (15)
Friday: T1-2p (80), T2-2p (30)
Saturday:  Sealed (60), TEAMS (40)

What were the rankings for the type 2 only and of those that got top places who is attending?

Kirk won the T2 Only. I have not heard for sure if he is going to Nats. Mitch got second and is not attending. Josh Brinkman got third and is not attending.

And who won T-2 Multi?  Hmmmm

I heard whoever won the local ALWAYS wins NAts. So I'm sending a box with a postage paid label and my address so they can go ahead and ship that trophy to me. No need to show up. Right?
